Sakura Sushi & Grill

Me and my brother in law came by during lunch (Around 2:30pm). The Food looked great however, The noodles were overcooked and way to soft. The steak was to tough. The rice was too dry. It looked so good but turned out to be pretty bad.

The good is the service. The waitress was very nice, and attentive to us. All in all hate it didn’t taste good was really looking forward to it.

I love Sakura. I grew up in the area and it’s always been a staple for the local kids and families to come enjoy the healthy cuisine. They have a selection of Japanese beers, including Ichiban and Sapporo. This place got me hooked on Mochi as a child and still as a big child. I would recommend this to anyone as a quick dinner or lunch option and even a fun place to study. THEY DO HAVE a private area for groups. Give them a try and see what you think!

This place was so delicious. The food was cooked to my partners liking and he enjoyed his tofu and ginger salad. I loved my sushi,Camarillo and ice cream. The waitress was a very nice lady and caring. This was such a fun place to eat and we had out area all to ourselves. So private like and comfortable. Would love to come back again.

OMG the SALMON was to die for, The absolute best I’ve ever had. I’m craving more, and I don’t like salmon. I’ve dined here before and everything tasted delicious, I returned to try the sushi, the rice had good flavor, which is what sushi is, for those who think it’s fish. My sashimi was good as well, but the Salmon was Awesome!

After hearing several high praises about this restaurant today I decided to try their meals and I wasn’t disappointed . I was pleasantly surprised with how cozy the space was, mindful our server had been, and how superb the food tasted . Vegan / vegetarian options are plentiful available . Although the hibachi vegetables were delicious the udon noodles were not tasteful . Despite that hick up I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie rolls, sweet potato rolls and the fried cheesecake .
Perfect place for a small get together or date . Loved the warm, dark moody vibe, music was calm and low . Art was minimal and well decorated . Clean atmosphere.

Love the foods we ordered. Beef udon, beef katsu and fish and shrimp rolls. All of them tasted delicious even the salad. We didn’t wait that long too which is a plus. The server we had was knowledgeable and helpful.

First time here. I ordered chicken fried rice to go. Well when I got back to work with my food I was completely chocked at what I seen. All I had was chunks of grilled chicken sitting on a bed of soy sauced white rice, and that was it. No veggies, no egg and no taste when I took a bite. It was horrible. I just threw it away.

It’s refreshing to be able to give a location in Panama City 5 stars for Food, Service, and Ambiance. Sakura takes pride in all 3 area and it’s very apparent. Delicious and fresh food consistently. Server was very attentive to every need and the ambiance is relaxing. This place is a gem in a city filled with chain restaurants and very few local restaurants of exceptional quality. This is one of those few. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again.
