The Miso soup wasn’t very hot,the salmon was cooked perfectly but wasn’t fresh tasting. I asked our server if the pot of tea was for 2..she said yes, then still charged me for 2 pots of tea even tho we were sharing one. Had she said that I would be paying an extra beverage I would have chosen a separate one from the hot tea but since she told me it was only one teapot I was buying I did not choose a second beverage. It was not loose leaf tea it was just a tea bag so that was also kind of generic.
The restaurant was very pretty.there was no ginger or wasabi in the bento box for the sushi roll. The sushi roll also had no seaweed on it. Just open rice so when using sauce it fell apart each time. This felt like the cousin of OMO. I will not choose to go back.

I took myself and the lady to eat here for lunch. It’s pretty good! The waitress was friendly and not pushy. This place has amazing sushi, teriyaki chiken and teriyaki salmon!! Had some miso too and that was great! Definitely worth a visit or 10!

Easily a favorite sushi spot of mine in Springfield. Wonderful selection, and the bento meals are delicious as well. They do not compromise on flavor for anything, whether it’s a simple salmon roll, or a complex specialty roll, you can expect quality. The sweet potato roll was a surprising favorite of mine, as well as the Mama Sang roll.

Got take out. Was pretty good for in the car. I got there too quickly and had to wait. The atmosphere was nice. It too busy but I think it was after lunch rush. And easy to get too even off the busy road. The food was hot (goyza) and fresh (sushi rolls). I ate too much, but I’ll go back and do it again.

Let me start by saying our visit was on Christmas. The restaurant was very busy, beyond busy. The staff worked hard to meet the needs of each customer. Was it perfect, no. Was there a wait? Yes. But we still had a good time. The flaming sushi roll was a highlight. This little place will always have a special place in my heart.

Man, This place is never a let down! The staff is very friendly . The whole place is not huge but not small, it is very inviting and decorated to make you feel more private than just general seating. It just feels more intimate, low lighting, clean, and the sushi and food is amazing. Sushi rice is perfectly cooked, presentation on everything is top notch. Fish tastes pretty fresh. I will continue to go back . They also have full entrees if you don’t like to fill up on just sushi. The J-bomb is always a huge favorite of mine.

I’m very sorry I could not provide better pictures of the food as I was hangry and needed to eat lol taking pictures was not my priority so I took what I could.
Atmosphere was great, pulling in was iffy but walked in had us curious, but wowed us with the decorations and layout. They had a bar where you could watch them make the sushi . Every employee seemed very nice and welcoming. Sushi was great! Everything we ordered was great ! If you like to try different types of sushi, this is a great one to share amongst a group. I personally enjoyed this place better than some other places we have been to.

This place was absolutely amazing! We beat the crowd on a Saturday evening for date night and ended up spending about $80 because we wanted to try a lot of things. I have celiac and the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, the food was beautifully prepared, and I had no reaction. The atmosphere is cozy and even as a crowd rolled in, it did not get too congested or loud. We will definitely be going back for more soon!

The atmosphere was amazing, and I felt like I was apart of the culture with the japanese decorative. I loved being greeted in Japanese as i walked into the restaurant. I came here once in a Blue Moon, and the food never disappointed me, but I can tell the cooker changes. The food doesn’t taste the same every time, but it still tasted good. The takoyaki with the Bonito Flake was amazing! I love the sashimi, always good quality. I got to try sake for the first time, and it was good. I am not sure how authentic the sake was, but I enjoyed it. My bf loved the sushi, but the shrimp tempura was his favorite. I gotta say the shrimp tempura hits home I was so sad that they didn’t serve the ice cream at the end anymore. The ice cream was so delicious, and that was something I looked forward to at the end. I hope you guys bring it back one day. The wait time seems average. Very friendly staff and smiles a lot.
I think the sushi chef was a bit upset at his assistant and got on to him. I was not sure what happened from A-B, but may be trying to handle it discreetly would be better for the employee and the chef. Although not everyone in the restaurant may seem affected by the situation, I slightly felt embarrassed and emphasized the situation for both parties.

The wait time was awful as it was almost an hour from the time of ordering to having the food on our tables. The complimentary soup was slightly salty, but helped pass some of the time. I liked the Fire Roll as it came out on literal fire and the sushi inside was warm. The other rolls I ordered, Yum Yum, Oyster, and Spicy Salmon were decent too. The Don Katsu was disappointing as the 70% breading and 30% meat ratio left much to be desired. All in all, good for Midwestern standards.
