There was a wait … but probably because the food is so good. The person who cooked and presented our food was fun, my students who had never been to a hibachi restaurant enjoyed it and is the reason I gave 3 stars. The food was excellent. I ordered several sushi and sashimi dishes to share with my students, and they really enjoyed some of them. High praise from students who were thinking they would hate it. The steak was the best steak hibachi I can remember having. Truly excellent.
Our server, however, was not as friendly or entertaining, and I would have given her one star. She would have been a model for that scary English teacher caricature.

The food was great! We split the rock n roll sushi roll and we both got the steak, all was great! Our server was slow at refilling drinks, we came in on a Friday night after work so we we’re ready to have some drinks! The booth we sat in was also small and I noticed that the tables we’re really packed in.

This was a great experience. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful. The food was very good. The only issue was the swordfish was a bit chewy. Unsure if that is how it normally is, though. We also got drinks which tasted good. The sauce for the main dish was tasty.

Food was good. Service was okay. Waiter forgot what food was ours she tried to give our appieztor to a different table. If you go here only ask for booth or grill. They have the tables so close to each other in order to sit down your coat will knock plates off another’s table. I had trouble getting to my chair. I had no privacy during my meal since everyone’s table was one finger length away from me. Had to ask for refills. I don’t like eating when someone I don’t know can drop in on my conversation and start talking to me cause they put the tables that close. I won’t come here again unless they fix the crowded seating I like my space and not to be placed with strangers being so close they could touch me

Food was not up to par from the previous times I have been here. Sushi was dry and rice tasted old. The chicken and steak was also not flavored very well. The other times I’ve been here for was great. Not sure if the kitchen was off that day or if it’s a trend.

We visited on a Sunday evening and got in right away. Our chef was entertaining, and the food was perfectly prepared. My only complaint was the temperature of the restaurant. We ended up wearing our coats for the entire meal – even though we were seated by the grill.

Had lunch at Sakura. Portion size was great, food was delicious, and service was exceptional. We got there about 30 minutes before they closed for lunch, we were not rushed at all and nobody made us feel like we shouldn’t have come in. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The guy that cooked our food was absolutely hilarious!!

We went here on a Saturday, during prom night and we only waited about 40 minutes. That was with a party of 7. I thought that was very reasonable. I had not been here before and the wait staff were very patient with my many questions about the menu. I am kind of a curmudgeon when it comes to table side entertainment, but they put on a good show especially for the children. The food was very good and the portions were very large. Even with the large portions, I recommend the egg rolls. VERY good.
