Amazing! Very speedy service. The food is amazing. I always order the shrimp and salmon hibachi and there is nothing like it. The salmon melts in your mouth and the seasoning is something I have failed to replicate at home. You also get a lot of food considering the price. I always end up taking food home with me. I am not someone who likes eating leftover food but I make an acceptation to this because it still tastes good even after it’s cold. The staff there is very nice and polite. A lot of restaurant waiters tend to act like you’re a convenience and it always makes me feel bad. But the staff there is so nice I feel comfortable ordering. If you’re autistic and have sensory problems this is the place for you. It’s always quiet. I have trouble ordering at some places because of a lot of factors. I end up having to have someone else order for me or type out what I want. Not here. People say I am a different person at this restaurant because of how comfortable I am ordering there. Best place to have a nice quiet meal.

There is definitely good food here. For the small city of Elkins, it rivals some of the food in bigger cities. The place is kind of plain as far as looks. The tables were sticky this time. During previous trips, it wasn’t. You can tell it’s a family business, and these people deserve all the business they can get. I definitely recommend getting the boat or the bridge! I always enjoy it with the family.

Really good food, reasonable prices. I didn’t eat sushi before I gave theirs a chance. It’s good, atleast for West Virginia. The space seems a bit sparsely decorated and slightly off, but this is not representative of the good food and service.

Sakura is our new favorite sushi restaurant. Friendly, and attentive waitstaff. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms. And the food was delicious. It was nice being able to see into the open kitchen and watch our sushi and other customers’ hibachi being made fresh.

Excellent place for Japanese food. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Only complaint is they don’t have anything on menu specifically for kids like smaller portion sized.

Sushi was drenched in sauce that I requested not to have. Also, one sushi was topped with mayo?! I have never seen that before! The dinner that my husband got was also drenched in brown sauce. More sauce than actual food. Very overpriced as well. It takes me about 30 minutes to get there so to get home and be ready to eat was very disappointing. We will not be returning!

Today was the first time I ever tried this place (I don’t live in Elkins anymore), and it was excellent. Everything from the miso soup to the sushi roll and hibachi were great. Everything came out hot and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was, especially the hibachi. It had the right amount of sauce, the vegetables were grilled well and were flavorful. Great portions, too, as there was no way I was finishing everything in one sitting. Glad to see Elkins is slowly getting more restaurant options.
