I cannot give this place enough stars!
I’ve been going to Sakura for years now. The sushi is always phenomenal and the people who work there are so nice. On top of that, the prices really aren’t bad whatsoever. This is my husband and I’s favorite date spot. They have set my standard for sushi.

We have had their food
Many times, and it’s always been so good! There is a wonderful variety of options for vegan/vegetarian.
Their new poke bowls are AMAZING. We got ours with sweet tofu. Best meal I’ve had for a long time. New all time favorite along with the sweet potato and avoacado roll.

Had the steak and shrimp hibachi, but the steak was tough and inedible. So they replaced it with chicken, which was tasty
He had a roll of some sort. Sapporo was nice and cold!

I just want to say that the staff at Sakura are so friendly and polite.
I love the food; it’s Always good and, I have never had any problems or mistakes when it came to my orders.
They have lots to choose from, including sushi!
Plus, an easy ordering system on their website and that includes Special Instructions, in case you have a Food Allergy or whatever.
Also, they have drinks (can drinks for only $1.50) and desserts!
Not only that, but, the website offers discounts!
Like $5OFF$30… Free egg roll… and, Happy Hour Coupon – 10% after 5PM!

I have enjoyed the General Tso’s Chicken and fried rice and/or noodles before, as well as the Sweet & Sour Chicken and fried rice and/or noodles.

Last night, I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with an extra egg ($1) and although I am Not a fan of veggies (like bean sprouts, daicon, green onions, white onions) I am ok with broccoli and carrots (if it comes with the dish).

The CFR that I got last night was excellent and so delicious!
Only thing that would have made it better would have been the addition of broccoli and/or carrots.
And some Yum Yum sauce, as well, that I forgot to add to my order.

If you are in the mood for great Asian food, I highly recommend checking out Sakura Japanese in Newburgh, Indiana!

Ordered carryout online for 5 people. We drove there (5 mins), and when we arrived, the woman working the register said our food was being prepared. We waited no more than 10 minutes, and then our food came out and was organized in a large cardboard box. All the food was there. I ordered the chicken fried rice and a DC roll. Both were excellent. Good price, especially considering the portions. My family ordered hibachi chicken, steak, and shrimp dinners and enjoyed them. Nothing to complain about. The woman at the restaurant was really friendly too, and it seemed like a nice environment.

Best sushi in the tri-state area, won’t get it anywhere else. Best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. Kids absolutely love their food! Huge portion for kids sweet n sour chicken.

I’ve been here a few times — sushi’s fresh and delicious, plus the menu has more options than I thought. It’s good, but I wish the flavors had a bit more kick. Still worth the visit!

This was a nice find on the east side. It’s a small restaurant and easy to drive past. The interior has been updated and looks great. I will say the staff was super. We had a large group and tried just about everything. The appetizers were great- we enjoyed the edamame and the seaweed salad. The crab rangoon was top notch. The spring rolls and gyoza were tasty. I saw some good prices and reviews on the sushi and was not disappointed. We tried the sushi boat for four and it was great. They have octopus! Very pleased with the experience and quality. I’m still trying to decide how it stacks up to some of the other sushi restaurants in the area but it’s worth the visit. They have hot and cold sake options, great tea, and Imported beers.ill be back for sure. Thanks a bunch!

Came in for lunch today at the same time as the two ladies who so kindly left 1 star reviews below me. Definitely not deserved. I’m giving them a 5 star because there were no complaints from us. Had the same server and she was super sweet, never once heard her be rude or had an attitude unlike some other customers. They did not point out the issue until they were given the check and she was very nice and offered to make it differently for them next time. When she walked away they were talking about how she gets no tip and they were happy to brag that they left a terrible review so I’m happy to give my point of view. Hate to see local businesses get bad reviews just because people are on a high horse and feel like being rude for no reason. The crab rangoons were fantastic as was the Kani salad and the chicken and broccoli. No complaints here except about rude customers.

I was passing through this area on a Thursday and stopped here for dinner. I got here around 7:10PM and was finished eating by 7:38. They were not very busy at that time. Aside from me, there was only two other parties in the dining room. They did have several to-go orders get picked up while I was here.
Service was very quick and staff was very kind.
I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box Dinner (chose the California Roll as my sushi)
Also, I got fried rice instead of White Rice. (That was a $1.00 up charge)
I enjoyed everything, except for the sauce on the far right of the pic with my food.

Overall, it was a terrific experience!
