Sakura Hibachi Buffet was pretty solid. Place was clean, vibes were chill. The hibachi station looked a little sus freshness‑wise, and the sushi I tried was kinda salty, not gonna lie. But the rest of the food was your standard Chinese buffet lineup with a ton of options. Great spot if you’re starving and want decent prices without overthinking it.

Food tastes good as any quality buffet, but I am celebrating my family coming to see me as I serve far from my hometown. Took my family out to this restaurant and my sister bites into a donut with hair in it. They claimed it fell into after but my 18 year old sister is not blind and can see a chunk of hair on the outside of a donut. There was also hair on one of the shrimp. Do what you want with that info.

Food was decent, iv had better. Atmosphere was quiet, they have allot of seating and it wasnt overcrowded. Clean and the staff were nice.

I’m not a fan of all-you-can-eat places, but the food was good, fresh, and had a TON of options! Desserts included! I’d most definitely come back! ✨ #food #options #desserts #return

Other than the fact that it was a bit warm in the restaurant we had a really nice oriental buffet dinner. I was expecting less quality and variety than what I was met with. Many buffets pull up short on seafood entree’s but no Sakura. There were several different shrimp, crab, and fish choices available. Everything was hot and fresh. We did arrive during the dinner hour yet with no wait and the place was medium full of people. I could see this being a regular stop for friends & family who are visiting. My wife loved the hot and sour soup and filled up too much on it! I was amazed by how varied the salad bar was. You could literally go there for the salad bar alone. I didn’t try the Hibachi grill as the buffet was more than satisfactory. Negative reviews are incorrect though buffets can be inconsistent, there was no sign of that here and everyone dining was more than pleased with their food. The lo mien was authentic as were the mala green beans, two of my favorites. This is western style oriental food so don’t expect San Francisco preparations and seasoning. Prices were very reasonable considering some of the Myrtle Beach buffets are $35 and up. They were a bit slow to clear our table and as I said at the top it could have been cooler in the restaurant so that’s why I’m only giving three stars for atmosphere. It’s really very nice inside.

I’ve ate here twice both times right around lunch time. Today we ate at 1pm food should be hot and fresh but almost everything I got was warm/cold/room temperature. Even the sushi didn’t taste freshly made. Food was dry with minimum flavor. Bathroom for the men was not the cleanest and the restaurant could use some updating. I honestly wish I would’ve ate somewhere else. The waitress was very nice and checked on us constantly.

Food was mediocre. I’ve definitely had better. Service wasn’t great. I’m guessing the server thought I tried to skip out on paying for the meal. I went to the restroom to wash my hands. I came back to my table with the server just standing at the table with the check In her hand with a weird facial expression. I was perplexed on what was going on because she did not give me the check. She walked away. Will not go back to this establishment. Spending 24 dollars on a half way decent meal and discrimination wasn’t on my menu that night. Work on your customer service!!!!

Very clean, everything fully stocked and prices were very reasonable! Even had special deserts you don’t usually see, a very versatile buffet! Came again for the second year in a row, absolutely divine!

Everything was very clean, especially for a buffet. The staff were very accommodating for our group. Price was extremely reasonable ($13.99 for lunch buffet), and the variety of food was incredible. Everything was fresh, and hot. Would highly recommend next time you are looking for an affordable option in Myrtle Beach!

The hibachi grill chef was amazing and very skilled at his craft. My plate came out cooked perfectly and when I asked for assistance since I have a broken arm he even helped w me getting the yum yum sauce I needed. There were so many different meats and veggies and also noodles and sauces not just on the hibachi but the buffet you can basically have a feast on one plate. I tipped him 5 bux it was so delicious. Now the buffet on the other hand was very bland and most of the food was flavorless overcooked and not at all what I was expecting. There were so many items to choose from and I really had high hopes but I’ve had better out of the microwave. The staff was not very friendly, and did not clear plates as we finished and never once did my server come by to check on us or anything. I did not make it to the sushi that day but I did try a couple bites of my friends seaweed salad and it did not taste fresh. I would definitely recommend for the hibachi. The quality of that stole the show. So t hat is why I gave only 3 stars . The hibachi chef and meal was a 5 though.
