Tried here for the first time last week. Ordered online. Time estimate was correct. Food was great. Much cleaner tasting than typical American Chinese food. Not heavy with greasy oil. We ordered chicken lo mein and steak lo mein. Veggies were also fresh and not cooked to mush like alot of places, they still had their flavor and a tiny bit of crunch, which was preferred for us. Only downside was that since it was my first time ordering, I didnt look to leave a tip online, when I got my receipt at drive thru to add a tip….they had already added like a $1.50 to the tip section…I didn’t really like that and probably would have left a BETTER tip, but was a little thrown off by it so just signed and left with the takeout. But the food is probably the best asian you’ll get in the area! I’d eat here over either Chinese buffet in the area.

I love Sakura Express! My wife and I eat there regularly. We typically share the Alaska Roll and an order of Orange Chicken w/ Fried Rice or Hibachi Chicken w/ Noodles.
The prices are on point especially for the 11am-3pm Lunch Menu and their portions are fantastic!
Not what I would call “Authentic” but extremely tasty and the best value in the Lakes Area in my opinion. Check them out!

I have never felt the need to post a review being that I have worked in the food service industry myself so I’m very understanding! However, this needs to be out there.
This is the second time we have been here first time food tasted good but my fiancé and his cousin both ended up not being able to be more that 5 feet from a bathroom.. this time… not the biggest problem because again been in the industry myself.. but probably 10 orders plus drive through people ordered after us and got food first we waited an hour before getting ours. But the big problems… a bone over an inch long was in my fiancés chicken that stabbed him right in the gums! (Thank god he didn’t swallow) and the worst part?!?! A species of maggot on my daughter’s broccoli! we brought all the food back and demanded a refund. That big of a bone should be noticed. And a damn bug?! How?!?!?! Will never eat here again. See photos. (including the google results from the photo I took)

Local, Asian cuisine and sushi spot with friendly service, delicious dishes, and generous portions. I love their Hibachi dishes; the Hibachi Salmon is my go to. I also love their Poke Bowls; The Hawaiian Poke Bowl is my favorite.

First time at Sakura Express. I’ve heard good things about their sushi. It was good. I’m not rating the atmosphere as we ordered online and picked it up at the drive thru. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. I’ve never had Pad Thai, but ordered it as the menu says it’s spicy. Unfortunately, it was Minnesota spicy. On par with mayonnaise and ketchup.

Very good sushi place, as well as other Japanese food. Ordered the Rainbow, Manhattan, Volcano and Spider roll. All came out tasting fresh and flavorful. I asked if they could remove the cream cheese from the Manhattan roll and appreciated that I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Food came out quick. This is a place where you order at the counter and sit down.

very good cooked well, great flavor. Yum yum sauce was incredible. Building is old and need of repair, the prices were excellent. Lunch specials were cheaper than fast food.

Ordered for takeout. My mom, my aunt, and I all love their Eel Poke Bowl, and my aunt likes their Shrimp Pad Thai.

My family ordered over 100 dollars worth of food and have ordered at Sakura multiple times and had great experiences. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food to be brought out, even though the website said 15-20 minutes. About an hour after eating, sadly, two of us were in the bathroom ill. I didn’t even want to touch my sushi because it smelled like straight fish and was falling apart soggy. Anyone that’s had good sushi knows that it shouldn’t smell like that if it’s fresh. Now, three of us are ill from eating the rice, chicken, and steak which didn’t even seem like steak, more like pot roast cut up. I would rather eat a table, it was so tough. We used to love Sakura, but we sadly won’t be eating here again. It’s gone down hill quickly.
