Food was good for buffet on xmas, one price all day $18.99, reasonable for holiday plus All you can eat! The sushi had many variety and sashimi, wakami salad, crab salad and octopus salads. Soups were also very tasty, I love to mix the flavors of wonton and egg drop and add 1 wonton with the chives and crunchy wonton noodles. This soup station did not dissapoint! I Would have loved to see crab legs but didnt realize A sign by the door that this is an add option of 2 lbs for 18.99.
My sons favorite was black pepper chicken said he was so full, but he wanted more of that chicken! We asked how much to take some chicken home. You can buy by the pound!

We were passing through Lake City and were craving sushi so we decided to check out Sakura Buffet. So glad we did. All the food was fresh. The green beans were some of the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and the flavor was spot on! Staff was super friendly. My only criticism would be too many of the kinds of sushi had cream cheese. I love tuna sushi but won’t eat it with cream cheese. The sushi without cream cheese that I had was great though and their seaweed salad was fantastic!! If we are ever in Lake City again, we will definitely be stopping by!

I eat here fairly regularly. The food is always good. Today’s visit was different, though. Whoever was doing the cooking was just plain showing off.
The spinach casserole, which I always enjoy, had cream cheese added to it, which totally changed the flavor profile for the better.
The stir fried mushrooms just blew my mind. Pretty amazing for something so simple.
The general tso’s chicken had a variety of chopped and small vegetables added to the sauce that, again, changed the profile without changing the core of the dish.
Totally impressed. Don’t miss this place!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a buffet. The food was awful. on the way home my fiance got sick after eating here . They automatically charge for all you can eat crab legs even if you don’t want it. Meanwhile the crab is dirty and sitting in a tray with ice. It was $70 JUST FOR 2 PEOPLE! AND THE CRAZIEST PART ABOUT IT ALL. THE SERVER PUT OUR CHECK DOWN AND TOOK MY PLATE FROM IN FRONT OF ME WHILE I WAS EATING! Not only did she take my plate but she also did it to someone’s toddler who was sitting at the table next to us. This was our first time going here and it was our last. We’ll go to the ole country buffet where you can actually enjoy yourself while eating clean food and getting your money’s worth.

All the food on the buffet bar was not hot and adequately heated. For $50.00 for two people the food should be hot!!! There was no steam coming from the steam tables. The bathrooms both men and women were disgusting and smelled. I think the State of Florida needs to inspect them before someone gets sick. We will not eat there again!

All I can say is Bravo! Bravo!! This is a wonderful buffet I stumbled upon on my way to Georgia. Inside a mall and looks questionable from the outside. Inside is food paradise!! Everything was so fresh and clean! The selection wa s enormous, especially for lunch! Lots and lots of sushi and even a hibachi grill! I indulged in lots of all of it! The sushi was on point, the hibachi was incredible and the buffet bar was amazing!! I figured that this must be like 20 bucks a piece, which would have been cheap for what I was getting. I got the bill and couldn’t believe my eyes… 10.49!! Unreal!! My moms was 9.49 due to senior discount. What a great place!!

Update 2024: may. Waitresses only see dollar signs. They drop the bill on your second round buffet plate before you barely started eating. Then constantly eye ball the checkbook as they pass by like circling wasps. Dont sit to the far left where the employees eat and take their breaks or they stare at you. I felt like i was in vietnam the way the waitresses all kept eyeballing the table and us once the check was dropped. People must dine and dash here.Even though theres cameras on you while you eat from both directions. The sushi looked like its sat out for a long time and tasted that way too. I didn’t dare try the raw oysters especially with a warning label over it, but people said it was fine.
Oh and get this! They scold and yell at people over diner items at the lunch buffet. So of you go in for a late lunch, they’ll say you cant get anything that’s basically all the hot fresh food items or youp will pay extra for dinner prices. Yet you were already there eating. Lastly, i felt pressured to over tip and some of the staff clearly don’t like Americans. Otherwise the food was ok and the beer is cold.
Edit: 2023 mid april. Reducing my stars. Very rude older waitress last time. If it happens again we won’t go back. The manager at the desk was off in her own world didn’t even acknowledge us entering or leaving. The waitress took forever to takeout dirty plates. Dropped the bill early then kept asking if we were finished yet. Even though the place was empty. The left side of the restaurant became the employee hang out area. It wasn’t comfortable being eye balled often and like they didn’t want to hear is talking. If this happens again we won’t go back. Sushi was not as good as it used to be. The waitress I had to track down to ask for a beer with a cold glass. She didn’t know what a cold glass was. Took 10 minutes. Every other employee gave us dirty looks like they hate Americans or something. I can see why the place was empty. There’s a warning sign over the oysters eat at your own risk. That scary.
Otherwise the typical Chinese cuisine was excellent.
The roast looked dry and a week old. It tasted terrible.
The beef for the beef with broccoli tasted strange and chewy. Like mystery meat. I spit it out. Otherwise what I picked to eat tasted good. The waitress didn’t deserve a good too and she got very angry when she say we only gave 2 dollars and change for a group. Worst service ever. The lunch price wasn’t bad.
Older review 2021-2022.This food was so good! Friendly staff, very nice inside. Included a sushi bar, great variety of Asian cuisine and some American items. We ordered plum wine and Japanese beer. Our waitress was super nice and just adorable. Great service gets a great a tip!
Some people eating there should be more respectful to the rules and wear the gloves they provide to get your food, also don’t stand up to talk by a table, or let your kids be loud and beat on chairs.
Asside from that they had nice cold drinks. Clean buffet, fresh food.
Definatly going back! We were so full!

The food is great as well as the service. The price is lower than I would expect for this type of quality. I would have given 5 stars but I feel that everyone and everything should always strive to be better so I left them a little room for improvement.

Just moved to Lake City. I do enjoy good Asian cuisine. First time at Sakura. Wow! The food was fresh and delicious! Tried a little of everything, from the Hibachi grill, to the tender boneless pork ribs, sushi too! The service was great and the restaurant is very clean. Will be back often I’m sure.
