SAKURA Japanese Steak House was an awesome experience from start to finish. The hibachi-style cooking right in front of you makes it fun and engaging without feeling over the top.

I ordered the filet mignon (medium), chicken, and lobster — and hands down, the filet was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor.

Even though the place is big and was very busy, it still felt personal and almost private at our table, which really stood out. Great atmosphere, great food, and a great overall experience.

Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others about this place.

The bestest was a little standoffish and kept reminding us we needed everyone there. We knew that, so you didn’t have to keep telling us. Then after we were seated everything was going fine. Our chef was nice and accommodating and the waitress was very understanding and responsive. Once we had gotten the check we were very surprised by the price! We kept trying to figure out how everything we got added up to over a hundred dollars. Now looking into it we realized the already add a 20% tip to your meal! And then we gave them a tip after the meal without knowing they already charged us for one.

Now to mention the food, everyone that I have spoken to has had some sort of stomach problems shortly after(or during)our visit. I myself have food poisoning and have been glued to a trashcan and toilet since the visit. I know that other people have had a really good experience lately and maybe ours was just one night that didn’t go well. But, we are all really disappointed and I just wanted to share so others can consider something might happen.

I always go at lunchtime. It is cheaper and crowds are much smaller. The lunch portions are still large but a little smaller than dinner portions. You do get soup and salad with your meal. Fried rice is $2 extra. You also get vegetables (zucchini, onions, and broccoli). They have lunch specials (price is @$15). The egg yolk sauce is good with the meal.
The chef was very nice and entertaining. The only thing is if ordering shrimp, it is a little overcooked. If ordering steak ask for it 2 temperatures lower than you like it. It is usually well done. The fried rice is very good. They do have a full bar.
There is a 18% gratuity added to all bills. The hostess was very polite and the server attentive.

Food was excellent..lemme to other Japanese places in different cities and states. I believe the food here was the best I’ve had. The steak wad so tender and flavor of all the dishes was also very good. The cooks was good at cooking was not as entertaining as other places, but ready to go back again!

My friends and I visited on a Saturday evening around 5pm with a reservation. The staff was incredibly friendly in sitting us and taking our order. Our chef wasn’t the most outgoing or entertaining, but did a great job at treating us well and creating a nice atmosphere.
The food was decent and not the best hibachi I’ve ever had. The yum yum sauce seemed a little off and the chicken was incredibly salty. However, the fried rice, shrimp, and vegetables were phenomenal! It was a little shocking that you had to pay extra for fried rice or noodles, but feel as though opting for the up charge is worth it.

Decent Hibachi spot in Easton. We went there on a Sunday evening and were quickly seated because it wasn’t crowded. We had the steak and steak/shrimp hibachi. I was impressed by the chef’s performance and the presentation of the meal. The chef was very skilled and displayed a flashy performance. The meal also included a light soup and salad. Flavor of the steak was decent but not mind blowing. A little on the pricier side and the meal does include 18% gratuity built in. Overall fulfilling meal.

Food is garbage and read the fine print on your menu. They automatically include a 20 percent tip on all meals without telling you. It is in small print on the menu but they assume nobody will pay attention assuming its just taxes. It is not authentic. Cheaply run and substandard products used in the meals preparation. You are literally paying fir the performance of the hibachi chef and he was not very good. It was clear that he did not enjoy working there.

Food itself was very mid and overpriced. For some reason, they charge 2 dollars for the fried rice, which comes with the hibachi meal? The rice portion was small as well. Flavor was lacking. The yum yum sauce was very watery. Taste was almost acidic. The chef didn’t seem very engaged and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Shout out to the gentleman with the green shirt, he was great. Lastly, they force an 18% gratuity so be careful of that.

It was late and nearing closing time when I got there. I liked the service more than the food. The food wasn’t exceptional but was good. The edamame and the cold sake were top-notch however. The service and the atmosphere were quite comforting as well.
