Awesome service every time, I’ve never had a dish that I didn’t like, and I always leave satisfied without feeling glutinous. There’s a decent selection of rolls, raw dishes, vegetables, and yummy soup. I enjoy raw rolls and dishes, while my partner enjoys the kitchen cooked entrees. For $30 all-you-can-eat dinner- you can’t beat it! I feel like I’m leaving with well more than $30, especially for a sushi restaurant. We’ve become somewhat regulars after a whim afternoon lunch date idea about a year ago, and we were sold! The waitresses that have recognized our patronage remember my drink and appetizer order, which is always a good sign for a customer relationship. Tip your servers and sushi chefs well, they work hard! Will be continuing to come back for years, I’m sure!

I come here more than I’d like to admit from Elizabeth City simply because this is the best sushi I’ve had. Service is ALWAYS friendly and my takeout orders are ready in a timely manner. I’ll continue coming here for all my Fried Spicy Tuna Rolls!

Won’t be returning. This place used to be amazing but quality of both food and staff has gone way down hill. Ordered takeout and tipped 18% on a nearly 70 dollar order. Walk in to pick it up and ask for extra soy sauce and they first look at my order I guess to see if I spent enough to deserve it. Ask for 2 and am given one. Forget the fact when we ordered via their app we paid for extra soy sauce already (so yes they charge for sauces) Get home and find they didn’t include any but the one extra I received at pick up. We also noted for the steak to be medium well and it was on the medium rare side. Chicken was a strange mix of dried out but still not thoroughly cooked (was kinda slimy inside) , the chicken and steak also had a fishy taste to it like they aren’t cleaning the grill properly or using old oil. Then there comes the sushi that tasted old and like it had been left out. We sadly won’t be returning and thus crosses off the last restaurant in Moyock that was still decent.

The only thing I don’t like and it’s not right is on the adult all you can eat menu is you come in with 2 or more adults and a couple of kids that are 5 and under that eat very little and they don’t eat from the kids menu because they eat very little and you give them your soup and another side that you order and the restaurant is going to charge you extra for them. Your already paying for it in your all you can eat price. This is called double dipping. I could understand if the kids were older, but these are small kids.

Better than all of the all you can eat places in the Virginia Beach area, so it’s definitely worth the drive, if you live in the Virginia side. Really reasonable prices for everything we ordered, as well. It’s a nice drive down the interstate, super easy to find the place. We are definitely going to go back at some point when we want a mini road trip.

Every time I come to town, I have to eat here. I just can’t convey the value and quality of this restaurant. It’s family owned and everyone is very nice. But the fact that you get anything and everything on the menu for $27 all you can eat is insanity to me!!! The fish is unreal for that price. Everything is so fresh, soft and buttery.

I am not one to review a restaurant, but I have tried to keep an open mind. I will start by saying that my family has come here countless times and never had an issue up until recently.
We went for my daughter’s birthday and our youngest fell trying to get down from the booth and cut her forehead open and it required 6 stitches. Of course that is NOT the restaurants fault, and I would never want anything in return but we had just received our sushi (there were 5 of us) and my husband asked for the check and we were given such an attitude for it because we hadn’t eaten anything and “we’re leaving food” when we had to rush our one year old to the hospital due to the injury she had just gotten. My husband was told we were going to be charged extra for leaving food and he just said whatever and paid and we rushed out (mind you we also hadn’t even eaten except for a soup/salad prior to this and their dinner menu is not “cheap” though it is a good value). Though that left a sour taste in our mouth we decided to come back again today – and it was another not great experience. We went for lunch and ordered our one year old the kids chicken nuggets and we ordered our foods as well. When my daughters food came out I took the fork and cut her nuggets in half so they would cool down faster, when I picked one up a few minutes later to check the temperature I saw that they were all completely raw. We politely told our waitress that we would just like that taken off the bill and she would just eat some of the rice that I had spooned onto my plate so I didn’t risk her grabbing a nugget. We got a very insincere “sorry” and she walked away – we were asked if we wanted them to make her more nuggets but I didn’t trust it at that point so said no thank you. When we received the bill, we were charged for noodles that I added as a side for myself (prior to my daughters nuggets arriving raw) and my daughter had about 2 bites of them and we were charged separately for them ($4 for a tiny plate of them) even though they were included in the all you can eat I ordered. Again, we just paid it and didn’t say anything further because it wasn’t worth the fight. We have never had this issue before this year, but feel completely taken advantage of – especially considering how sick my daughter could have gotten from her meal. We unfortunately will not be returning because this was the final straw for us.

While the price for AYCE is a good deal, the sushi was just ok. Miso soup was just ok. Water tasted like salt, so we had a pay $1 for a bottle (worth it). Server was friendly and service was fast, but I don’t think we will be returning.
