My wife and I just recently moved to Plano, we love doing take out sushi from local places. When we asked neighbors about SAKI most of them said they haven’t eat there and that the boat in the parking lot turned them off. I’ll be honest I’ll try anything at least once, boat parked out front or not. I’m writing this review after our second take out experience, and it looks like we will be going here for our local sushi needs! Thanks for the amazing dinner!

Sushi was good. Hibachi was too salty but ok. The Soju (Korean alcohol) was great! Management needs to tighten up presentation but it was good for our first outing. Will try again. Service was great.

Went here for the first time today and had some gyoza and their angel roll. They were great but I thought the gyoza was a little too hard, not as moist as if you’ve been to Asia. I have, specifically 3 years in Okinawa, Japan and I’m not trying to rate them based on over there. Anyway I needed a sushi fix and without this place I think the nearest one is on the east side of Oswego.

This place was awesome! I would’ve never thought that a sushi place in Plano Illinois could ever be good, but Saki proved me wrong. I ordered takeout sushi from here, and was pleasantly surprised with very quick and amazing food! The service was very friendly, and picking it up was a breeze. I will definitely be going back!

The food was good, the waitress gave me a bad taste in the beginning but she seemed to relax as the time went on. When we originally came in she kinda gave me a put off vibe like she didn’t want us there, and dropped the menus on the table. I don’t mean it in a snobby way it was literally a plop. Didn’t really care about it, it was more the sense she didn’t want us to be there or her for that matter. But I did try to remember it could have been another customer that ruffled her feathers because she became nicer through out the meal.
Now I won’t say it was the BEST food it was good. I’ve definitely had better hibachi, it was affordable for me and my significant other it was 60$ and that’s with him getting 2 orders of sushi and my steak hibachi meal.
Because I know the layout I wasn’t to upset about them not having a grill to watch the food being made. In a all out rating I’d go back and enjoy the food most definitely.
The ambiance was somewhat lack luster they didn’t do much in the way of trying to make the inside their own. Love the paintings and prints they had up but could Def tell it was a diner before.
I believe as they grow and stay around this will all change. And I can’t wait to see how they grow! I can’t wait to go back!

I have been highly anticipating the opening of this restaurant. Visited this place 1 week after opening and they were still busy which is awesome! With it being busy, the food still came out extremely fast. Sushi does take a little longer due to it being freshly made. Most of the reviews on this place that are negative are due to the fact that this is a newer restaurant still getting its footing. There is a lot they need to do but they are learning which is all you can ask for! I would highly recommend this place and with due time I think they are going to really do a nice job. WARNING the hibachi is cooked in back not in front of you but still great food! Support our small businesses in small towns like Plano!

Came here for the first time today it was delicious and we were served fast! Good flavor for both the sushi and the hibachi dinners! I would say maybe the rice could have an option to make it a combination rice and a bigger of a serving size would be perfect but just a recommendation. Overall a clean and inviting atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and quick.
