We came to Jim’s Place to celebrate our anniversary, and had a wonderful time! Our table was ready a few minutes before our actual reservation time, and everyone we encountered was polite and pleasant! Our cocktails were well made and delicious, our appetizer was a lamb lollipop special and so delectable. The soup of the day was broccoli cheddar and was excellent. We had wine with our steak entrees, and it all came out perfect. The restaurant added mashed potatoes to the menu, and they were amazing. Our server was the best, and checked on us and got everything we could ask for. She even brought us a free brownie dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. On the whole, a lovely experience at Jim’s Place, as always. We will be back!

While the atmosphere and the flavor of the overall meal were quite good, my experience with the Jim’s SIGNATURE Filet was very disappointing.
Upon ordering the Jim’s SIGNATURE Filet with two sides, I inquired about the thickness of the cut, as steak portions vary between restaurants. Based on the description provided by the waiter, I requested the filet to be butterflied, a preparation my server informed me would take longer to cook which I didn’t mind.
However, contrary to what the waiter told me, my meal arrived faster than expected. When the plate was sat down in front of me, the “filet” was alarmingly thin. A true filet mignon is a thick, round cut. What I received was a thin, flat cut similar to a piece of grilled chicken breast, or the meat on a McRib than a premium steak. Given the extreme lack of thickness, butterflying the cut as I requested was an impossibility.
For a dish that is labeled as the restaurant’s “SIGNATURE” and is priced accordingly, the portion size was unacceptable. The small cut did not meet the basic expectations for a fine-dining filet. I typically look forward to having a portion large enough to take home for a second meal. Unfortunately, there was no possibility of that happening.
Jim’s Place Grille needs to address the quality control and sourcing of this dish. A signature steak is suppose to represent the restaurant’s quality standard, and this particular cut and preparation fell very short of what I expected at its price point.

This was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be back. Our server was Braxton and he did a great job. We all enjoyed our entrees. I only have pics of my food, but there were 4 of us. I think 2 had the Salmon, which they were both happy with.

I cannot say enough good things about having my son‘s rehearsal dinner here. Kristy, the servers, and the food were remarkable. Easy to work with, a beautiful room, amazing food choices, and all the food came out delicious and at the same time for 43 people. It was impressive. And a tremendous value as well – I cannot imagine there being a better experience for the price that we paid. Thank you guys for making our event a big success. Got many compliments from my guests. I have owned a wedding and event rental company for 18 years and have been involved with many rehearsal dinners. Jim’s place is a very smart choice!

Our waiter, Elias, was professional and attentive. He timed the courses perfectly and made the whole dining experience exceptional. The feta phyllo puff appetizer was phenomenal. We were disappointed in the french onion soup but this was a minor setback. The main courses, steak and special crab stuffed grouper, were outstanding. We look forward to dining here again soon.

Just hosted rehearsal dinner @Jim’s place and Grill 4/4/25. It was an amazing experience. They provided event coordinator (Kristy) who answered/returned every call and questions I had. She allowed me early access to decorate (which is set up beautifully on its own). She made suggestions for local florist @C&J florists who also did a beautiful job. We had 4 dedicated servers who each were very knowledgeable and anticipated our needs. And the food was AMAZING!!! Will make the hour trip just for the crab meat topped filet!

This is the place to go for a fabulous fine dining experience. The steaks are perfectly seasoned and melt like butter, amazing salads and delicious sides (with the exception of the greens which were relatively flavorless and unseasoned, try the spinach instead it was great). Good atmosphere and the servers( we had the pleasure of Aubreys company) are amazing. This is it, our new favorite place.

This was my first time trying out Jim’s Place. I had heard a lot of great things about the restaurant. My reservation was for 6:45 and we arrived a little early so I figured we’d have to wait to be seated. Not at all. We were seated at in less than 5 minutes. The atmosphere of the establishment was loud and exciting on the bar side and more calm and quiet in the dinning room. Our server was nice and knew all of the meals of the day by memory, but didn’t offer nor bring us any water for the table. She did take our cocktail orders though. All of the steak selections ordered were cooked to perfection for medium rare lovers. My ribeye could have used just a little more seasoning but still was good. Everything was fresh, came out quick, and was hot. This will most definitely become one of my regular dinning spots!

The atmosphere was very nice they greeted us with smiles. The waiter we had was nice but he was acting kind of nervous. The salad was very good but the my entrée was very bland the chicken taste like it was a warmed up patty with can tomatoes on it the potatoes was out if a box. I drove 35 minutes to be disappointed
