We come up to Kansas a few times a year from Louisiana. My wife and daughter found this place after trying some other places in town. They liked it Sake 2 Me so much they visited twice with out me. I got to tag a long the last day. I say it’s a good little sushi spot. The dining experience was good. Shusi was good. Got local beer on tap. Give it all 5 stars.

This place was packed, we went in on a Friday night around 6:30 and did not start eating until 7:30. They need more staff; All the working staff are friendly and it was pretty spacious for a small town. We ordered 5 different kinds of Sushi and 2 bowls, the presentation was amazing as you can see, but they all taste pretty plain. Spiderman was my favorite then the Godzilla (made with steak), the other ones all taste the samr. Overall more satisfied with the bowls.

The sushi is excellent, but this place needs more staff. The wait time is a deterrent. We’ve been seated for an hour and not received our appetizer yet. If you’re in a hurry, avoid this establishment.

The food was good. They ran out of sushi rice and made us pay extra for the coliflower rice anyway. (Wasn’t good coliflower rice.) We left 10 minutes after they closed for lunch and they immediately locked the door right after. It sucked because we accidentally left our baby’s passifer on the table we tried to go back in to get but the servers just looked at us through the window. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Called shortly before heading there to see what the wait time was, and were told no wait time and they were open. By the time we got there, they must have had a few people either leave or call in late (employees), because when we got there (20 or so minute drive) they had a sign on the door they were closed due to a worker shortage. Sad and disappointed, but it could have been worse. I don’t get sushi very often, but there were other options, so we went elsewhere. I don’t blame them for issues out of their control, but I was really looking forward to dining there.
