Exceptional nigiri, the fish was so delicious and smooth. The mussel shooters were also incredible, they sound a lil weird but are very very good. We got the large sashimi plate and asked if it could be nigiri instead, and they said yes but charge $3 for the sushi rice to be added. It was worth every penny, such a great dinner for the price.

My whole family, but most especially my husband and I, love Sake. I actually can’t believe I have not left a review before now, because it is one of our favorite restaurants all around, let alone Japanese restaurant. We have celebrated holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and my son even took his date here for the prom. We have lived in Japan and feel like this restaurant gives an excellent representation of what you might find in authentic Japanese restaurants. The sushi is delicious. The katsu curry a favorite of ours. Every Ramen is delectable. They even serve Agedashi tofu, my very favorite, and hard to find in many Japanese-American restaurants. They have a room that can be made private where we held my husband‘s 50th birthday party with a large crowd. The servers were so accommodating and are always friendly. I can’t recommend Sake enough.

Noodles and Snow Crab roll are excellent! Don’t miss the vegetable tempura appetizer! Great service and plenty of parking. Restaurant itself is in need of an update. Prices are very reasonable. We plan to go again and again.

This place us a hidden gem! Great service. Authentic Japanese cuisine. Love the sushi (reminds me of Tsunami, without the wait). Also, fabulous Ramen! They have lots of gluten free options, including sweet potato noodles in the Ramen. And the service is the fastest I’ve had at any sushi place. Highly recommend!

The service was amazing. We had a couple of rolls, including one customized to our preferences. The grilled squid was very good, and the fish was incredibly fresh. The tempura was good, though I would personally suggest changing the type of tempura mix. However, the atmosphere could use some improvement—it feels too much like a cafeteria, and the lighting is overly bright.

Overall a solid spot for sushi and ramen. I ordered the tantanmen ramen. Wife ordered Vegas, fire dragon, and lobster rolls. It was a little more expensive than we had hoped for but overall good experience.

We love this restaurant! My favorite roll in the whole world is the Hana roll! But everything is always so fresh and delicious! It is a great place to bring friends to eat and visit. The atmosphere is not too loud and cozy and private.

One of the best places in Utah to get sushi and ramen. Always a good time. I try and get something different every time. I haven’t had a anything that wasn’t amazing. Lots of sake to pair with your meal. Highly recommend.

Great spot. High quality fish and very kind servers.
We came at a very busy time but they were still fairly effective at providing a table and food. Ramen was very tasty and a perfect spice level. The mussel shooter was also surprisingly good. The sushi rolls were a little small but solid flavors. We especially liked the Itango roll.
Worth a visit if you’re craving good fish and ramen in SLC.
