My family and I visited Sake Japanese Steakhouse in Wheaton to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and very quick without ever making us feel rushed.
Lorenzo, our hibachi chef, was outstanding, skilled, engaging, and truly made the meal special. We will definitely be requesting him on our next visit.
The food was cooked to perfection, with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. Everyone in our party left with a full stomach and a packed to-go tray, easily enough for another meal.
We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or night out. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had such a great experience here! The staff was so kind and helpful. They recommended the Yummy Roll and it was absolutely delicious 10/10! The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place – ordered probably $80 of food to go. Two habachi orders, appetizers, sushi, etc.. waited over an hour to get the food when the expected wait time was 20 minutes. Annoying but whatever. Then I arrive home (and rush inside as my bag is leaking something terrible) to open the bag up and see that everything including two soups was packaged VERTICALLY. Like what? Que the next 15 minutes of cleaning spilled soup off my floor and counter and wiping down every little soup covered container in the bag. The food was fine, but the experience was a little loco.

Worst dining experience of my life. DO NOT give this place your business. I made a reservation for 2 at 6pm. Wasn’t seated for another 15 minutes due to the wait, no issues. I completely understand. Things didnt get bad until we actually sat down. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and received those within about 20 minutes, which I then put in our hibachi entree order by 6:30pm. Never saw our waiter again after that. He continued to serve the other 6-7 tables of couples around us, they received miso and salad and we were left empty handed. After an hour of waiting for our entrees, I attempted to get our waiters attention and was ignored again. People that were seated after us had already eaten and left at this point. Safe to say we will never be coming back here. The waiter that was serving us has no business working in this line of work and deserves to be fired.

The hibachi maybe isn’t the best I’ve had but still pretty good. You get a lot for your money. Would definitely recommend. The staff are so nice.

The hibachi was fire! I also tried the Mai Thai for their Happy Hour which is every Sunday for only $7 it was strong drink. My wife got the Japanese Sunflower that was also yummy and much recommended.

Stop what you are doing and come here now. The prices are ridiculously cheap, food is good, and interior ambience will blow you away for the location. Like I said, stop browsing and just come. Before it goes (!).
