I’ve been coming here since shortly after this place opened. I’m not sure how long that’s been. Over ten years I’d say. The friendly service, professional atmosphere, and high quality food keep me coming back. The level of high standards and consistency make this establishment one of my very favorite places to eat. Chicken was mushy and gross, felt like scraps and a huge waste of $15; personally wasn’t many edible pieces. Also asked to upgrade from white rice to fried rice for the chicken, and I was still given white. Sushi, crab rangoon, dumplings, and veggie fried rice were all good though. The young girl ringing up our takeout was great, the 2 blondes at the host stand were staring and whispering to each other while we checked out.

If you are looking for incredible sushi without the pretentious price tag, Sake House in Beaver Dam is the place to be. It has easily become one of my absolute favorite spots, and for good reason.

The atmosphere is fantastic—perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a special night out. What really sets it apart, though, is the service. The staff is consistently awesome; they are attentive, friendly, and make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door.
The Food
The sushi is fresh, creative, and—most importantly—affordable. I’ll be honest: my table almost always over-orders because everything on the menu looks (and tastes) so good. Even when we walk out completely stuffed, it’s worth every bite.

I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or a beginner, Sake House hits all the right notes.

Delicious food and huge portions. I will definitely be back. I can’t stop thinking about the vegetable and shrimp tempura. The steak was a little tough, and the shrimp were a little overcooked. It made my jaw hurt chewing. My waitress was super friendly and helpful.

This is a good place to go for some nice Japanese food in Beaver Dam, WI. Service was excellent. Food is better than average and of a good portion. We enjoyed their tempura bento boxes, sushi rolls and the orange chicken.

Great, friendly service. Inside of the restaurant, very cozy and beautifully decorated. From the outside, you cannot tell just how nice it is. Dynamite roll was perfect.Could’ve kept eating crab Rangoon , sooo good! Tried a bite of sesame chicken, and the spring roll. Both good as well. Also ordered Hot Girl roll, that one was not what I was thinking. Needed a bit more flavor, so the Wasabi and soy were good with that.

I have taken guests here on numerous occaissions and my family is a frequent carryout customer. Time after time, our guests say Sake House is some of the best sushi they have ever had. The prices are REASONABLE for the quality of food you’d pay significantly more for in a larger city. Our favorites are the hibachi dinners, Bento boxes, Udon noodles, and the Bamboo, volcano, firecracker Lady Gaga, mango and Da Bomb rolls.

Food was great, had a new waiter on my first time trying this place, food came without the meat because of miscommunication between the staff, so I had to wait because of their mishap and was not accommodated at all for the wait. SORRY was all I got. But the food was so good I ordered take out the very next day.

Great spot, great food, what more to say? Awesome sushi, the hibachi dinners were cooked perfectly, our waitress was very attentive to us, and the atmosphere is nice. Very intimate they way they are set up.
