Having lived in Japan for six years, I have quite a high standard for the type and quality of sushi I order in restaurants. To say I was pleasantly surprised with what I ordered at Sake would be a major understatement. The quality, freshness, preparation and presentation were all amazing. Finding a sushi restaurant that serves an all-you-can-eat menu that includes such a wide variety of nigiri and sashimi (!!) was incredible. The tuna, salmon, snapper, squid, octopus, shrimp — all were generous portions and extremely fresh. In addition to the nigiri and sashimi, I tried the tuna lover’s roll, spring rolls and miso soup, which were also delicious. Sake is a hard-core sushi lover’s dream but also has something for everyone with more mainstream rolls and very well-prepared and delicious cooked items. I will definitely be going back to Sake on any trip I make to Pensacola.

There’s no reason the chicken tempura should taste this good. About the only place I order something other than sushi when I’m paying for AYCE sushi. Their sushi is also great. Just look at that salmon!

Amazing time tonight at Sake Cafe! We ate lionfish two different ways — tempura fried and sushi rolls! Sooooo amazing! Best fish we’ve ever had. Definitely try it! They have lionfish on the menu all the time. The sushi is always some of the freshest I’ve ever had. The quality of the food is consistently amazing. Service is top notch. I highly recommend sake cafe to go for date night or family dinner. Great place!

Amazing food, all very fresh & delicious. The AYCE is a bit pricey, but for the qaulity & amount you (can) get is worth it. The place is also very beautiful & has a very lovely staff.

Orders tend to come out quick too, even during opening/rush.

I have a shellfish allergy, so I’m always slightly nervous to have sushi because it’s all prepared in the same area. I attended a private lionfish dinner and Chef Adi prepared me lionfish sushi with the lionfish fried separate from other shellfish & it was amazing! I’ve been back several times & Chef Adi prepares it for me each time now. I greatly appreciate the extra steps he takes to prepare me a dish I love that is safe. He takes great pride in his work, the food is amazing & best of all I can enjoy sushi without taking a benadryl or worse. Thank you Chef Adi! If you haven’t tried lionfish, you definitely want to visit Sake & order it.

Best Sushi in the area! Phenomenal rolls made with very good quality fish. Portions are extremely generous for the price! The atmosphere is great, the servers are great, and the menu is amazing. Yes, the food can take a bit to come out, but you know what? It’s not McDonalds. I’d rather wait here at the table with a drink to get some quality food than stand outside in the parking lot. Don’t bother with the other places nearby. Come here instead!

Sake Cafe has incredible happy hour combos! The snow crab nachos and seaweed salad were so tasty. We enjoyed the spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura, crunchy crab and more. Happy hour is 2-5pm – we will definitely be back for more!

This place is fantastic—easily the best sushi in Pensacola! I’ve had sushi in many places, and this is easily in my top three of all time. The all-you-can-eat option is an incredible deal, especially for the high-quality ingredients. The owner even came over to chat with us—he’s a great guy, clearly passionate about using the freshest and best ingredients. I’ll definitely be back!

We arrived at 5:20 and were seated, I got the all you can eat and the other person at the table got one roll and a salad. It took forty minutes for our orders to be taken, 30 minutes for her salad to come out, it said house salad it was just iceberg lettuce and some lumpy ginger dressing. It took another 20 after her food arrived for my first roll to be served. There’s supposed to be a 90 minute limit for the all you can eat starting from when the first roll arrives and we were there for more than two hours simply because our food took forever. Other tables that came in after us that ordered non-sushi items were served before us and we watched two tables be seated, order, wait for their food and then decide to leave without eating because the wait for food was so long. The food was okay when it arrived but certainly not good enough to warrant a forty minute wait on one sushi roll. By 7 I asked the waiter how long on my last two rolls, and that if it was longer than 20 minutes I just wanted to cancel the order and get my check. He said he would ask, and never came back to our table. He served other tables their food without letting me know how much longer on my food and without bringing the bill. 20 minutes later my last two rolls came out and I was just so hangry and exhausted that I told them to give me a box and just charge me a la carte because I did not have time to sit there and eat. I had prior engagements at 6pm and errands to run, I thought I would sit down for maybe a 50 minute meal and then be able to get on with my evening but the service dragged on for so long my whole evening was taken up with one meal, and I only wound up eating two of my sushi rolls at the restaurant. Service was abysmal and I recommend not going here unless you have hours to kill. Staff was also not friendly and was rather rude when asked questions about the menu.

I’ve lived in Pensacola for nearly 7 years, and I can not believe that I’ve never heard of this place until recently.

My kids and I love sushi, but we have struggled to find a good sushi restaurant in Pensacola and have had from really bad to settling on mediocre sushi until now. One of my co-workers, who has been to Japan many times, was the one who told me about this place. She claims that this is the closest to real Japanese sushi she has had anywhere around this area. I’ve never been to Japan, so I can’t make that same claim, but this sushi is phenomenal!!!

They have so many different kinds of rolls that it actually makes it really hard to decide. I’ve been twice now, and I’ve tried 8 different rolls, and every single one of them were stunningly presented on the plate and insanely delicious. My favorite is the Lionfish rolls. Look at the photos!! You get an entire lionfish!

Their menus are made really well, and they have a nice way of indicating if the roll is cooked, fried, or raw. They have hibachi, alcoholic beverages, and all you can eat options. It’s just a really well-rounded menu.

The staff is always pleasant and attentive, and they have plenty of seating. Both times I went, I didn’t have to wait to be seated.

The only thing I could possibly say negative about this place is its location and parking are awkward. The location makes it kind of hard to notice from the road, and it’s a tight turn to get into the parking lot. Once in the parking lot, it’s kind of awkward to park. Neither of these things matters enough to make me want to reduce my 5 stars rating. That sushi is just too good!
