I give this restaurant a one star. I did experience interruptions in service, the chef who cooked our dinner gave my daughter’s vegetables to another family as I stated that you can disperse her vegetables on my dish. Also, when given fried rice, he literally gave her a line of rice on her dish, which left my daughter disappointed. So, replacement rice was given, which defeats the purpose and it was served at a suitable temperature. My chief concern is that I had a family size of 3, and gratuity was added to my receipt. I believe they’re adding gratuity based off of personal judgment rather than policy, as they reported over the phone gratuity is added for party sizes larger than 4 (which I will report to the BBB).I am a huge fan of Hibachi (not at Sake), and have only gone to Sakura Garden in Glastonbury. The only reason I attended Sake (twice), only because it was my mother’s selection. However, if you enjoy high end service and food, pay the extra charges at Sakura Garden in Glastonbury or South Windsor. Sake is a very low-end hibachi restaurant, that I’m disappointed for ever attending, what a waste. I do not recommend this restaurant.
