While traveling on business this was my first time trying this restaurant. I called in my order. Very friendly staff on the phone and at the resturant. Easy order and pick up. Food is absolutely fresh and delicious. When I got back to my hotel room and opened my bag there was an extra sushi box and it had written on the lid “on the house”. Great service, great people and awesome food.

I very much enjoy this place!! Food is very good, quality doesn’t waver. My favorite are the spicy yaki salmon roll (I get mine gluten free.) I absolutely love how staff always gives something on the house with my order. One time I got a mochi and usually I get a yummy salad. I have also tried the bubble tea from here, it’s not my favorite but I would definitely say it’s one of the best in the area. I definitely recommend this place!

Plenty of wide parking in this plaza.
The food is very good with a lot of variety you expect from a Japanese restaurant. The specialty sushi selections lean towards “spicy” in their names so if you’re not a spicy fan, there are less specialty sushi selections but still many other options overall.
The rainbow roll with lobster tempura (~$17) was very good with the right amount of crunch in the center from the tempura. You don’t get many so you would need to order something else with it if you are considering this as your meal unless you’re just not that hungry or want something small.
I got the tonkatsu ramen to go with it. The broth was flavorful, and although I’m not a corn fan, the kernels of corn in this soup didn’t ruin the taste. The noodles were al dente and just right!
Service is attentive and quick but militant. The establishment looks clean. Good for a casual meal. I would definitely order from them if I lived nearby or am in the area.
You get a 10% discount if you pay via cash.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I always order the vegetarian ramen and scallion pancakes. The wait staff is incredibly kind and personable. And the atmosphere is so relaxing. Don’t forget to grab a melon candy on your way out!

I was curious because another reviewer said that out of the 30 ramen places he went to in NJ, this was in the top 3. He’s right! I ordered the black garlic ramen, and it was delicious. Tender pork chasu and the broth wasn’t too salty. I also love that they included corn and bamboo. Very reasonable around $13. Some might want more than 2 pieces of pork, but I thought overall it was a good portion size. We also enjoyed the takoyaki and spicy girl roll (not spicy at all but had salmon, tuna, avocado with crunchy pieces). Service was attentive but not that friendly. Place was clean and decorated with many cool Lego sets! The only negative was the mango bubble tea. It didn’t taste like mango at all. Weird flavor. Save yourself and go to Gong Cha for high quality tea. But I do recommend the food at this place!

Stuck in this hotel for the night. Craving a sushi binge and I got it. Excellent place!

I’m addicted to this place. Best quality and priced sashimi (my fav) in the area. Not sure if it’s because I spend $40+ each time, but, they always include a complimentary roll with my order. Only have picked up orders, no dine in.

It is my favorite sushi spot. We recently dined at Sakana instead of order pickup, and they did not disappoint. Everything looked and tasted great, especially the salmon which was melt-in-mouth delicious and all 3 specialty rolls.

I walked in and ordered takeout. I was impressed with how fast they made my order. I think I only waited 15 minutes! And they were busy too. I ordered the Naruto roll, tuna and mango roll, the lobster rolled in seared tuna (appetizer) and two pieces of uni (sea urchin) sushi. I was surprised to see uni on the menu because it is such a delicacy! Everything was delicious except I was a little underwhelmed by the lobster wrapped in tuna. The portion of lobster was pretty small and it wasn’t very flavorful. I would definitely order the sushi again but change the appetizer up. Overall, a really great spot.

I’m glad that this place is open in my area. They have a good selection of sushi rolls. The taste is good too. The sashimi could be bigger. I like the ramen there even though the selection is quite limited. The service is good. The price is regular. I wish they have the half price sushi on Saturday like the other restaurant the same owner has in the area. Try the volcano roll.
