Food was delicious. We went in a Friday and it was packed with men and there were just 2 small tables so it’s mainly a carryout place but the food is delicious. I loved it so much My son had a party and the food was catered from there and it was wonderful so I went back for the first time today. The lamb Dhibe was flavorful and the jollof rice was delicious. The restaurant is small but seemed extremely popular as there were about 10-15 people in there appeared to be waiting for food and people were coming in as we were leaving. The 2 tables seem to be for people to wait for their food. It was about 15 minutes so we just went to the grocery store in the plaza and when we finished shopping our food was ready. The prices were good as well as the portion sizes. Next time we will probably just order in advance since there really is no done in but they didn’t take long to prepare the food even though the restaurant was packed.

First time trying this tucked away gem with food rooted from Senegal and the quality was amazing!!
Portion size was generous, the fillet fish and jollof was seasoned to perfection without using any additional sauces or condiments, the ginger juice taste authentic and the bissap flower juice taste like a popsicle.
My friends had the chicken with jasmine rice and the lamb with rice and both said their meals were excellent.
I appreciate great customer service and to add amazing food has made me a customer now for sure!

Forgive me for not taking a before picture. The lady at the counter was very nice. Small shop in a plaza. isn’t the best plaza. Delighted to see a good food option in the plaza. I ordered the grilled lamb, lamb wrap, and fried rice/Benechin/Thieb. Rice was the best but I like it better when there are vegetables in it. The lamb meat was fatty in it. I ate all of the rice. My lamb wrap wasn’t the best because the meat inside was over cooked and had a little off taste. It was poorly wrapped, I couldn’t finish it. The grilled lamb had good flavor along with those awesome onions on top. A lot of the meat was chewy and inedible which was a bummer. This is my second time eating from here and I wanted to like it more as it is closer to me than the restaurant I usually go to for this type of food. They are fair priced. Wanted to try the Snapper. The meat pies didn’t look filled so I didn’t order one.
Update 4-4-2025. Snapper and rice was delicious. Snapper has great flavor. For DoorDash, please tie up the bag well and if possible place in a brown bag. Because the bag was poorly tied, I didn’t feel comforted knowing that the driver could’ve done anything to my food. Consider better tamper proof packaging for deliveries. It’s so much better to call in and order than to go through DoorDash with those ridiculous convenience fees.

I was craving African food and didn’t want to leave the house so I searched Uber for one I haven’t been to. Found this place on Riverdale Rd. Ordered the jollof rice and Dibi. It was soooo good. Everything was seasoned and flavored well. The chicken was super tender and I loved the grilled onion on top. I will frequent this place from now on. Two thumbs up!!
