Probably our favorite French place by far in the triangle. No mass produced food here. Every dish is clearly made fresh with care. I’ve never not had a top tier dish here. Everything is always perfectly cooked and gorgeously plated and the service is impeccable.

Wrote a review on open table but forgot about Google! So writing a very late review from April 2022 but had to write this review to tell you if you want good french food and wonderful service go here! My husband said it was the best french onion soup he has ever had! Escargot was delicious and authentic. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and felt very special- service was incredible! Merci to St Jacques!

Good French restaurant. Quiet. Perfect for date night. We had the scallops and crab cake, escargot, and lamb. We had two red wines: Domaine Paul Buisse and the Cosme, really good.

Wow. Just WOW!!! From the moment we walked in and was greeted by Maddie’s smile, we knew we were in for a treat! Everything we ordered was exceptional – from the Chef Board and Onion Soup, to our dinners of beef tenderloin and rack of lamb, it was AMAZING. Not the experience we were expecting from a strip mall restaurant, but thoroughly impressed. Fantastic service from Maddie as well. Highly recommend!

Would like to preface this review by saying we’ve been longtime fans of Saint Jacques, back to when Lil was here years ago. It’s been our go-to celebration spot for birthdays, graduations, etc. My family recently moved back to the area and we were excited to return. The restaurant now is certainly different from the original Saint Jacques we remember.

Not impressed with Saint Jacques. Website shows alcohol but all they have is wine (no sweet wine) so wine was nasty (I drank water) We had a great waitress “Alex..(a girl)” Tipped Alex good..she made our evening so much better. Don’t buy “Coquille Saint Jacques” it’s nasty. Lobster bisque was delicious and so was Creme Brulee. I don’t think we will be back.

I will tread carefully with this review because of the fact that my personal meal was good….a bit salty but overall it was good. I had the beef with butternut squash soup. My wife however got the “rack of lamb” which was 3 ribs, very small, and full of fat. I noticed the gentleman in a suit who originally seated us making his way through the restaurant as we ate and had conversations with patrons asking them “How is everything ” etc. We did not receive that unfortunately. Overall the experience was not what I had hoped for.

Server started off by asking us about allergies. I am allergic to walnuts, so I really appreciated that. We ordered the cheese plate and it’s covered in walnuts. Everything else was great though.

Very pleased with this restaurant. It was our first time dining and the staff was very friendly. It has a refined but comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque, which was a special they were serving and I could have eaten several bowls, and the creme brulee.

The chef always personally comes to the table with a special treat, quite impressive on a date. My boyfriend is allergic to nuts & seafood, and is gluten sensitive. They are always AMAZING about his diet restrictions, and very respectful and helpful with recommendations. Can’t recommend this place enough!! Very authentic European homey feel ❤️
