What a terrible poolside restaurant. Chips and salsa was chips from a bag, tiny cup of mild grocery store salsa, and a tiny cup of unseasoned, mashed avocado. Our sweet potato fries were cold and withered. By far the worst meal we had on our trip. But the swarm of flies at the table seemed to enjoy it!

TLDR: don’t waste your time or money here.
Worst experience at a Ritz, and maybe even a Marriott all together. We were recommended this restaurant for the good outdoor atmosphere and food – unfortunately our experience was mediocre at best. We came here on our last night in the Virgin Islands in hope for good service, seafood, and a nice atmosphere.
We made a reservation, we arrived on time and had drinks about 10-15 min after sitting. They can not make espresso martinis here, and they broke down the bar before our food came out. Food for our party took over 45 min to come out after ordering. After serving drinks they did bring out complimentary bread, which was nice. Unfortunately, the bread was half stale and some parts literally hard and un able to chew.
Overall, our party enjoyed their food but the little things added up to a disappointing time especially considering the level of service the that Ritz holds themselves to. Steaks were over cooked, sides were not seasoned well, ceviche was fishy, and extra sides included a $10 side of 4 small pieces of plantains.
Things took so long that dessert wasn’t an option, not that we wanted to spend anymore time or money here.

Sails at the Ritz Carlton was amazing. I had the snapper wrap with fries. The snapper was so fresh and had a delicious tropical marinade. The fries were fluffy and slightly crispy. Never had fries like this before. They were so good, cleaned my plate. We also had an Angus burger that was the best burger I’ve ever tasted.
Our Cruzian Confusions were cool and refreshing and compliments of our very friendly and helful bellman.
Service was top notch, as well as the view of the ocean and private beach.
We will be back ASAP Ritz Carlton St. Thomas! Save us a table!

Went for dinner and were greeted by a very friendly staff member. Nice open atmosphere and the Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and not only the best in St Thomas but one of the best I’ve ever had. Paired with a side salad and truffle fries it was a very satisfying meal. The food came quickly and our servers were attentive and pleasant. I would highly recommend them!!

By the beach restaurant with a distinctive sail roof to serve customers. It is so relax here, beautiful scenery, seating to hear sounds of waves rushing ashore, nice ocean breeze caressing ears, and everything else. A memorial romantic time forever.

Great atmosphere for a casual lunch and tropical cocktails! The restaurant was recently remodeled and looks great. Food was pretty good for the island — enjoyed the wings and fish tacos — but you’re really here for the views and ambiance.

Food was meh. Not Ritz quality.
Fish tacos were over cooked by 3-4 minutes, which for fish, makes it very chewy. Nothing to brag about. If you have other choices I’d choose something else.

Great atmosphere and views. Staff friendly and nice. Food was terrible for being Ritz Carlton. Lacks seasoning and any sort of character for being island food. Fish tacos, ceviche, and kids fish is what we had.
