Been coming here for years and each visit has been delicious and personable. Fast service and consistently great food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so inviting with the touches of illustrations on the dividers and menus and even their gift cards. Loan is the most charismatic business owner and it shows in the quality of the food and service here!

We always come here when craving the mini shrimp pancake. The flavors just work. Crispy, rich, savory. It’s listed as an appetizer, but honestly it’s filling enough on its own since it comes with greens and sides.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Edmonton and Saskatoon, and this is the only place I’ve found that makes this dish. It reminds me of Ho Chi Minh City, which is a big reason I keep coming back.

Also worth mentioning the owner, Lo Ann. She’s consistently positive and clearly passionate about the food and the restaurant, and that adds to the experience.

Highly recommend!!

Saigon Taste is officially my new go-to pho spot.
I ordered the #16 Beef Satay Soup, and right away it stood out. The broth is not overpowered by peanuts like it is at so many other places. It’s rich, flavorful, and balanced. It was so good that I drank every single drop. The medium-rare beef was cooked perfectly, and the skinny pho noodles worked really well with the broth.
I also tried the #10 Pho Your Own Way with beef balls, and honestly, they crushed it. Beef ball soup is hard to mess up, but this one was incredibly flavorful and comforting. Everything about it just worked.
We also ordered the spring rolls, and they were excellent. They came out piping hot with a great crunch and really nice flavor. I appreciated that they were full-size spring rolls, not something that looks like it came out of a frozen bag. You can tell they’re made in-house.
Both broths were unbelievably tasty, and the portion sizes are massive. You definitely get your money’s worth here. A small but cool detail I noticed was that the dishes are branded with their logo, which shows attention to detail.
Service was great. Friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was also really nice. Clean space, lovely decor, and some smooth jazz playing in the background made it a relaxing place to eat.
If you haven’t been to Saigon Taste yet, you need to go. Easy 10 out of 10.

Went here for dinner. The interior is cozy and has good ambience. The menu itself is interesting and includes background information on several dishes. We ordered a serving of salad rolls to start and the fermented fish noodle soup and five color vermicelli for our mains. The salad rolls were well portioned and filling. The fish soup has a very rich flavor and the vermicelli was very tasty. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

We’ve tried lots of Vietnamese cuisines around the city and came to the conclusion that Saigon taste is the best place in Edmonton. Perfect food and perfect service, superior interior will immerse you in the atmosphere of Vietnam. Definitely recommend to check it out.

P.S. Number 14 in menu(photo 1) is my favorite just love at the first spoon

If you’re looking for Vietnamese food that goes beyond the standard pho and vermicelli bowls, Saigon Taste is a must-visit. I was genuinely impressed by their menu, which highlights a great selection of regional dishes that most places just don’t offer. It was so refreshing to see that level of variety, and it’s exactly the reason I will definitely be returning.

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve never been to this place until tonight. I was going to make a seafood chowder for my daughters, but we decided to go out for Vietnamese instead. I eat great Vietnamese food in other cities and I have been to Vietnam so I have street cred. We all fought the food and the service was outstanding. So glad we came here and we will be back soon.

I ordered the 9. House Special Beef Noodle Soup, and honestly, it was pretty bad. The people were nice, but the service was terrible. We had to tell them we were ready to order, and even then, we had to reorder the 1. Spring Rolls twice because they forgot. We also had to constantly ask for water and reorder our iced tea multiple times. When it came time to pay, the machine wasn’t working, and no one came back to check, we actually had to go tell them ourselves and could’ve easily walked out without paying. The spring rolls were good, but that’s about it. Really disappointing experience overall.

the house special beef noodle soup is by far the best, it’s like a warm embrace for the soul!!! so yummi >.< it’s broth is extremely flavourful and the meat slices and meatball is wonderful as well, the rice noodle with lots of green onion is my favourite part.

nummy- chicken noodle broth feels like the warm comfort of a loved one’s embrace after a cold rainy day. The noodles are softened to perfection as it sits with the savoury chicken and veggies. The portion is generous and leaves nothing to be desired.

the spring rolls is flavoured nicely as well and has the perfect crunch. the service is always so lovely, a very comfortable environment to be in. definitely not pricey at all for 2 people it’s around $30

i could definitely come here every night :3 it’s also convenient that it’s open for late hours especially after work it hits the spot!! (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
