Phenomenal spot to eat! The food is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. My wife and I have made this place a weekly dinner stop. This is a family-run business and you can tell the owners put their whole hearts into it. Can’t recommend enough!

I used to enjoy coming here occasionally with my family because it was usually quiet and convenient — not necessarily because the food stood out, but it worked for us.

However, my last visit will truly be my last. During our meal, we witnessed the owner publicly yell at and dismiss a waitress in front of customers. It was extremely uncomfortable and humiliating to watch. The situation stemmed from a bowl of pho being placed farther from our toddler for safety. We were actually the ones who moved it closer, but the owner assumed it was her fault and took his frustration out on her.

We tried to step in and explain that she had done nothing wrong as she was, in fact, an excellent server ALWAYS. She greeted us warmly, was attentive throughout the meal, and checked on us regularly. Despite our attempt to clarify, the owner told us to “get back to your table or get out” and said he didn’t need our business.

The entire interaction felt hostile and disrespectful. On top of that, there was no hand soap in the restroom during our visit, which raised concerns about cleanliness.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will never be returning.

The Vietnamese food are decent enough. Here’s my comment on the dishes we ordered. The fried spring rolls were quite tasty specially if dipped in the sweet chili sauce. The pho seemed authentic enough but the broth is a bit weak and did not have the fragrance of boiled bone soup. Though large and deliciously moist, the fried chicken wings were overly salty. I chose the fish sauce from the flavor options but I think it was sprinkled too liberally or maybe the fish sauce was the cheaper kind which is saltier rather than the more premium type which is less salty but higher in umami. Lastly and this is what I’m unhappy about: an 18% gratuity is mandatory. As in you have no say at all as a customer. As in tips that are getting higher and higher, tips that are expected for littlest of things such as self-checkout kiosks which require no human intervention, this forced tip is a negative trend.

The staff were very receptive and quick to act for all parts of the meal. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the area, they have a good level of spice for somebody who likes it spicy!

No complaints about this location or the experience, solid Vietnamese food with many Pho and other traditional options.

Rarely rate 5 stars across the board, but for someone who doesn’t venture too far out into new food categories, this was top notch. The broth, chicken, noodles, all top notch. Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered a calamari, got a dish with mostly fried onion for $14. Other dishes are 4/10. Very little food for the price we paid. I recommend Pho 75 across the street. Much cheaper, and much more food than this one. I paid $60 but not enough to get full.

Edit: Just read the restaurant’s response. It’s surprising that they told me to go to McDonald to get full. Hope people can see how rude they are. I’ve been in many luxury restaurants in the area, this one is just an average 5/10 and acts like they are a 5-stars one. Trust me, the food here is not worth the money. I’m happy to pay more, but not this quality. @owner: Btw, we went to Pho 75 before coming to you, they were packed and the line too long. We didn’t have much time on the day so we went and tried yours. (Not because of your reputation)

Edit 2: The owner responded by claiming that I ate all the squid and posted a picture with onions. I’m shocked they would make such an accusation. The photo was taken after we had only eaten two pieces of the fried onion—this is exactly how the dish was served. I swear I did not eat the calamari, then take photos and write a bad review. I have no reason to waste my time doing that. I simply shared my honest experience.

What the owner said is completely false and insulting. Be very careful with how you speak to customers—such defamatory statements could lead to legal consequences.

Delicious food accompanied by hospitality like nothing else. My father and I are just a couple of Aussies on a road trip across the US when we stumbled across Saigon in DC. We were instantly delighted by the welcoming atmosphere, it’s not everyday you find staff so happy and interested in having a chat. We had to make a return on our final night in DC. The owner is no doubt a true friend to all

Mandatory “tip” required of 18% because they underpay their staff. And then on top of the required tip, they request an additional tip. Know before you go.

It’s not the customer’s responsibility to pay a business’s employees. What’s next, we tip at Walmart or at Discount Tire?? Crazy.
