WELL , did I get MORE than I had expected…
Prawns ,squid seared with fresh red capsicum ,ginger, spring onion shallots, brocolli, cauliflower, carrot along with the most delicious stock/ sauce. All cooked too an absolute perfect level still alldente and juicy.
I asked about byo and was told yes and not even charged corkage!.
Sometimes, looks can be deceiving, I would recommend this authentic Vietnamese diner for any person looking for a fresh / healthy dinner without the pomp and ceremony that most upmarket restaurants base their menu prices on. I will return too try out many of my other Viet dishes featured on the expansive menu…
Staff are all friendly Darlings xx
The service was excellent from start to finish.
Every staff member was attentive, warm and welcoming.
The food quality was outstanding — fresh, flavourful and beautifully prepared.
I truly appreciated that everything was 100% halal, giving us complete peace of mind.
Portions were generous and served with care.
The ambience was comfortable and inviting, perfect for families and friends.
Everything arrived on time and exactly as ordered.
Their professionalism and kindness made the visit even better.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and great service.
I will definitely be returning!
Service was pleasant, prompt and professional. Highly recommend and would definitely order from here again and again.
walking into the building i was beyond confused as to why there was a near identical building 2 stores down from this one. a sign that i shouldve turned back and never returned.
another sign….fried chicken burgers on the menu???? at a vietnamese restaurant????
as i sat down waiting about 10 minutes for a bahn mi (an abysmal wait time, but ill be patient).
for whatever reason i decided to get the basil mushroom and tofu bahn mi as it was one of the few vegetarian options. I asked for no choriander as thats a personal preference.
revolting.
extremely bready bite, the only salad consisted of “pickled” carrots (carrots covered in sugar) and burnt basil, NO chilli despite asking for it, and an indescribable unflavoured mayonaise that bubbled and foamed like soap.
the tofu felt wet and was extremely soft….not firm tofu? abysmal.
and then….the mushroom.
I took one bite of the slimy, cold, squishy mushroom and immediately had to spit it out….and throw the rest of this “sandwich” away…. overpriced and underflavoured….a JOKE.
do NOT trust the 4.1 review score. if you want authentic and quality vietnamese food, look elsewhere!
STAY. AWAY.
Somehow they seemed to have lost the booking so we had to wait outside (which was a cold night) until a couple of tables were free. Luckily we didn’t wait too long.
Their menu is more like a large novel. Vietnamese selections, Chinese dishes and then more western style food. There is probably way too many options, maybe they should stick with Vietnamese dishes only.
The staff were friendly and I ordered crispy Chicken wings for an entree and a classic beef Pho for the mains with a Tiger beer (cost $45+). We seemed to wait quite a while for the food to come out which came oddly enough mixed between entrees and mains in mixed order. Nevertheless, my food was super delicious and I struggled to finish it off so ended being very good value.
This is one place you’d want to certainly book beforehand as it was busy when we were there. And double check your booking just to be on the safe side. But very much worth a visit if you like Vietnamese food.
Staffs were very friendly, welcoming and knowing best. Fried spring-rolls were very crispy and amazing me with a big surprise.
Pho was very decent, warm and tasty in a cloudy and cold weather.
Highly recommended
