Happy hour prices for 3 different appetizers was a great deal especially with the portion sizes. The flavor of vegetable broth in the pho was underwhelming but for the most part we found everything quite tasty. There ain’t a ton of seating and the bar seats are especially uncomfortable. Very clean bathroom.

So so so good! The dumplings and whatever sauce they come with is one of my new favs. They have beer and other alcoholic drinks, tea, boba, Thai tea, pho, spring rolls! Lots of great stuff. We got the dumplings, spring rolls with tofu, tsigtao beer, and thai green tea. It was happy hour so it’s totally affordable. Clean bathroom with a mouthwash dispenser lol. I’ve never seen that before and it works!!! Baby changing table in there too. It’s a great little Seattle spot and we’ll definitely be back again.

Forewarning for folks that might be sensitive to it, they add a good amount of paté in the banh mi which can have a very strong flavor, especially when warm. It’s good because it adds a nice creaminess and savoriness. But if you aren’t ready for it (like I was on my first bite) it can be a bit of a shock. I actually preferred the chicken and pork banh mis after they had a chance to cool down in the fridge versus eating them hot with all of that strong flavor. Absolutely devoured them then.

Otherwise the service was fast and friendly.

The flavor of everything was amazing and they put an absolute ton of meat in their banh mi and pho which makes them very filling, which is great.

Only cringe I had was the price. The pho had double the meat as another places but was also double the price which hurt the wallet. We were in the area on a trip all week and our lunch here was the most expensive meal of the entire trip. I get the downtown location means high rent but wowza lol.

I’d still go back for a filling bowl of pho or a hefty good banh mi every once in a while though.

Bánh mì drip – brisket is very rich, good but too rich. The group of us struggled to finish half of it. First few bites were fantastic. Not too expensive, would come back to try other dishes.

Driving through Pioneer Square we decided to grab a bite before going home, and Saigon Drip was on my list of places to try

I went for the brisket Banh Mi Drip.

Overall it was good, the bread seemed fresh, and the brisket was tender and soft. However it was seasoned with a very sweet sauce which I did not care for. I’m certain that most people would love the sweet sauce, but I don’t like sweet sauce on meat.

For this reason I do not imagine that I’ll return. I’m also certain that others will love it.

One of my favorite spots in Seattle! The food is amazing and fresh, the crew is always so helpful and sweet (S/O Jasmin!), and the space is lovely and inviting. The Banh Mi Drip is an absolute must! But everything on the menu is delicious so you really can’t go wrong. I also love how they have staple menu items and rotating items. This is the perfect place to stop when you’re in Pioneer Square and/or checking out the artwork.

Spent a few days in Seattle, haven’t been terribly impressed with any cuisine until we got to Saigon Drip Cafe.

Unassuming from the exterior but great food. Comforting Pho with a savory flavorful broth. And an amazing Bahn Mi Drip – imagine a Vietnamese cheesesteak with a concentrated pho broth. Surprisingly best meal we’ve had.

Talked to the owner for a bit – the recipes are directly from his mom. Can’t get any more authentic than that.

An excellent spot for a delicious lunch. The pho broth is really memorable as is the friendly staff and casual vibe. There were young couples and whole families eating in. Great spot.

Parking: paid street parking only unless Sunday.

Honestly it’s overpriced @ $17 per sandwich plus tax and tip. We served ourselves – cleaned up a dirty table when we arrived and bussed our own dirty plates after. Ordered via a tablet and there’s no service or free water. It’s limited tables/seating inside.

We both ordered the beef brisket Bahn mi. The broth was luke warm, not hot, and too salty. The brisket would have tasted better if it came with pickled veggies. And it’s a little sweet.

We wouldn’t come again.
