My wife, daughter, and I were in the area looking for something flavorful and comforting, and we were all craving Thai and Vietnamese food. After browsing Yelp, we came across Saigon Bistro and decided to give it a try, and wow, what a great decision that was.

First impressions: There’s plenty of easy parking, and the lot is clean and well kept, which is always a nice start. The restaurant itself is cozy with about 7, 8 booths and a few larger tables in the center, perfect for family style dining. The space feels calm and welcoming, with a relaxed ambiance and very clean surroundings.

But what really stood out right away was the hospitality. I always appreciate when restaurant staff are friendly and genuinely seem to care, and that’s exactly what we got here. We were welcomed like old friends. Our server, Angela, was amazing. She was warm, professional, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in making sure customers leave happy.

Now for the food, which totally stole the show.

We started with the #12 Bistrot Sampler, which is a must if you want to try a little bit of everything. It came with crispy wings, flavorful potstickers, golden egg rolls, rocket shrimp, a traditional spring roll, grilled pork spring roll, and a chicken spring roll. Everything was hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty, a perfect appetizer plate for the table.

Then came the #30 Seafood Deluxe Tom Yum Soup, and it was absolutely packed with flavor. The broth was tangy and spicy, and it had a generous mix of shrimp, scallops, and cuttlefish. It was bold, aromatic, and so comforting. You could tell it was made with care.

We also had the #15 Filet Mignon Pho, and that broth, rich and flavorful, was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The filet mignon was tender and cooked just right. It was everything you want pho to be, warm, flavorful, and satisfying.

But the star of the show? Hands down the #38 Deluxe Garlic Fried Rice with added crawfish. If you come here, don’t skip this one. The fried rice was loaded with shrimp, scallops, cuttlefish, and chicken, and the flavor was unreal.
The added crawfish took it to another level, seriously, it’s a must. Every bite had that perfect mix of garlic, savory seafood, and a satisfying texture that we couldn’t get enough of.

To drink, we ordered a Thai tea and it was honestly one of the best we’ve had. You could immediately tell it was homemade, not the powdery kind you sometimes get at other spots. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, and paired so well with the savory dishes.

And of course, we had to end the meal with something sweet. We tried their crème brûlée, and wow–what a surprise! Silky smooth, perfectly set, with a golden caramelized sugar crust on top. You could tell it was freshly made, not something pre-packaged. It was rich, creamy, and just the right size to share.

We also couldn’t resist the churro with ice cream, and it was just as good as it sounds. Warm, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside churros served with cold, creamy vanilla ice cream–such a satisfying and nostalgic treat. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal.

Overall, this was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything from the service to the food and dessert exceeded our expectations. If you’re in the area or even somewhat close, do yourself a favor and stop by Saigon Bistro. We’ll definitely be back, and next time, we’re bringing more family with us.

Wonderful experience! We were passing through town hoping to find a place to grab some lunch. Pretty much everything we came across was closed for some reason, but thankfully we stumbled upon this cute gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious and fresh, and above all the service was outstanding! The husband and wife owners were so kind, accommodating and friendly. The decorations made this place stand out too! Highly recommend!

Saigon Bistrot attracted me with its banner promising Thai food, of which I am a great connoisseur, naturally ;). I have a bit less familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine. Here is my two cents on this new place:
The Thai dishes can compete with dishes from any of the best Thai restaurants in Orange County. I loved their Pad Thai and Yellow Curry especially. Prices are competitive as well, and better than some. The Thai portion of the menu is very limited however, to a
SB’s featured specialties are deluxe garlic fried rice and the sampler platters; the fried rices are well worth it and the best menu items IMO. Try the /Spring Rolls too, they make a great side dish with the fried rice.
From the friendly service to the nice, cozy dining experience, I felt welcome and quite pleased with my lunch. This charming little restaurant deserves the chance to impress you!

I recently came with my mom, and it was such a great experience from start to finish.

Food:
We ordered the Bistrot’s Combination Rice Platter with grilled shrimp and pork, the Combination Vermicelli Noodles with grilled shrimp and chicken, and the Bistrot’s Sampler (wings, potstickers, egg rolls, rocket shrimp, and veggie/chicken/shrimp spring rolls). Every dish came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The grilled meats were tender and well-seasoned, the vermicelli was light but filling, and the sampler was a fun way to try a variety of appetizers. Portion sizes were generous without sacrificing quality.

Service & Atmosphere:
The staff was very welcoming and attentive, making us feel comfortable right away. The restaurant has a warm, clean, and inviting atmosphere that works just as well for a casual meal as it would for a small gathering.

Overall:
Between the delicious food, friendly service, and great portion sizes, Saigon Bistrot really stood out. My mom and I both left happy and satisfied. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their menu!

I have been patiently waiting for this place to reopen tomorrow January 28, 2026. They deserved a break from all the hard dedicated work it takes to run a restaurant.
I am taking my daughter and adopted daughter there for their first time. I already know what I am ordering and can taste the goodness. .
The couple that own and operate this Bistro are very friendly makes you feel like family. . The food is always fresh and delicious.

We experienced a deliciously flavored, relaxed and pleasant dining at Saigon Bistrot. Our picks included scumptiously prepared crisp egg rolls (vegetable and pork), spring rolls (pork and shrimp), banh mi pork sandwich, house special pho, beef pad see ew, and orange chicken. All fresh, nourishing, and delectable. The service was excellent and very friendly. We also tried their superb Saigon coffee and delightful Ube flan cake. We are definitely coming back and highly recommend Saigon Bistrot!

First Visit Impressions – Worth a Second Trip!
My son and I stumbled across this place the other day and decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. Since it was our first time, our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient, which we really appreciated.

We started with the Bistrot Sampler, which included Wings, Potstickers, Egg Rolls, Rocket Shrimps, Spring Roll, Grilled Pork Spring Roll, and Chicken Spring Roll. Overall, it was a great variety and everything tasted pretty good—though the rocket shrimp were a bit overcooked and ended up slightly burned. That was the only real miss on the plate.

We also tried the Garlic Fried Rice with Grilled Shrimp and the Grilled Chicken Bánh Mì (Gà Nướng) served with French Fries. Both were delicious—the rice was packed with flavor, and the bánh mì was fresh and satisfying.

I’m planning to return soon to try more dishes before giving a final verdict, but based on this first visit, it’s definitely a place worth checking out!
