Love – Love SAGO and the whole community. Literally made a trip to 2 coffee shops just to grab the avocado toast from SAGO.
Maybe it was just a bad day… but in the past this avocado toast was chunky and piled high with delicious avocados and other delightful ingredients. Disappointed today when my toast had barely any avocado and the amount of red pepper flakes was as thick as the toast. It was barely edible. Super disappointed. If this is the NEW toast then don’t waste your money.
It was a Sunday afternoon so I’m sure the day was busy but the inside of the coffee shop had very dirty floors. Couldn’t find a clean spot to sit so we ate in the car. Outside patio area needs some power washing and a quick blower to get rid of the debris.

Love the coffee shop. Love the service. Love the thrift store. Loved the apple tart YUM!

Sago Cafe in Jax Beach is a fantastic spot! We stopped by for a quick lunch and were so impressed with the food and atmosphere.

I had the chicken salad sandwich—it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The honey cinnamon latte was also amazing—smooth, lightly sweet, and super comforting.

The space is bright and open, with plenty of seating and a clean, minimalist decor that gives it a calm and welcoming vibe. It’s a great place to relax, meet up with friends, or even get some work done.

Highly recommend if you’re in the Jacksonville Beach area and looking for good food, great coffee, and a chill atmosphere!

Great little spot to grab a coffee and a bite. Plenty of spots to plug in as needed for your phone or puter. Several folks just chillin’ and doing work. Lots of windows for natural light, too. Great staff and menu.

Have been here a few times. The space is beautiful, well equipped, and offers different types of seating that are suitable for working or social visits. Coffee is decent and menu selection is good. But I have had unfriendly service most of the time here. It’s weird, like they’re annoyed by just ordering even though I am courteous. The food is okay. Toast is often over done. Burritos are grilled too long and taste a little burnt. I don’t dislike the place just wouldn’t rank it tops.

My friend ordered a bacon avocado bagel and forgot to ask for it without bacon. We went back up and asked if it could be remade, only to be told we would have to buy another $10 bagel so they could make one without bacon. Are you serious?? You can’t accommodate a customer on a simple bagel that costs about $1.50 to make? Other than that, the atmosphere is nice and modern. The food is good.

Love this place! Whenever I am in the area, I get a Caffe latte from here. Great for work and study. The huge outside area is a plus. ( You can bring your dog and have a cup of coffee)
Their waffle is amazing! A must try

Came here to do some studying with my sister, as we live locally. I’ll start with the positives- this place has a cool vibe. I like the indoor outdoor atmosphere. The negatives start with the food & coffee. I ordered a small coffee & avocado toast. I don’t mind paying 20 dollars for good coffee and food- but both were pretty bad. The avocado toast was mostly just red pepper flakes; barely any avocado. The coffee I literally couldn’t even drink it was so burnt. The girl who was taking my order was not friendly and welcoming in the slightest. Barley looked up at me and was more concerned with her friends sitting at the coffee bar. Probably would come here again-but I’d probably just order an overpriced water to study so I’m at least not paying for a burnt coffee that will be poured out.

I frequent Sago just about every weekend now. It is a great place to get work done and chat with friends. Never too loud. Music choice is always great too! The entire staff is lovely and I enjoy talking to them- very friendly. Their coffee selection, along with their accompanying menu, is A+.

I got an iced lavender matcha latte. Asked for lavender cold foam and they said they couldn’t do that which I thought was strange. I’ve never gone to a coffee shop that couldn’t do cold foam. The two girls that were kind of rude. Didn’t make eye contact with me, no expression on her face. Didn’t tell me the total. Just waited for me to look and catch it myself. The vibe was just off. But the matcha was alright. The lids don’t fit the cups so when I got outside the lid came off as I went to take a sip and spilled all over me. I would not recommend this place and I wouldn’t come back.

It is clearly the best coffee shop in Jacksonville. It’s not even close! The coffee is incredible, the staff is so friendly and skilled, and the atmosphere is beautiful and there’s always a good energy in there.
