BEST VIBES BEST EATERY BEST STAFF. the food was incredibly delicious – i recommend the soft shell crab and the skirt steak. the sauce for the skirt steak was genuinely deliciousa. my group didn’t know what to order so we asked our waiter for recommendations, and he REALLY sold us on almost every item on the menu. shoutout DANIEL. amazing customer service from him and jose and the other guy but i didn’t catch his name. they were all very attentive and funny.

I came to Raku Izakaya on a bit of whim and absolutely loved the atmosphere with friendly staff and great food! Deciced on some happy hour gyoza (sauce was super rich and fresh) and hot sake that was perfect! Staff member David made sure we had everything we needed from drinks to photos! 10/10 Definitely recommend. ✨

Don’t walk, RUN to get a table here! Let me tell you something about this place. I came last night with two of my best friends and at first, we had no clue what to get. Suddenly, a guardian angel in the form of our waiter, Daniel, arrived not only with suggestions, but an entire anthology of the restaurant’s best eats. My friends and I ended up ordering pretty much something from each page, and it was the best experience! Every time Daniel came to our table, our group was filled with laughter and joy. We’ve never met a server so kind and genuinely fun! This team is truly lucky to have such a worker. Also, shoutout to Jose and the other crew that night — all were so helpful and amazing! Trust that we’ll be here as often as we can. It was truly a night to remember. SLAY!!!

The staff is very kind and hardworking. The food is very average at best, it does taste like a simple takeout. The dishes are very sauced up and lacking real delicious flavor. It is very convenient since it is open late, but after ordering 5 items on the menu to try, nothing was “so delicious!” or knocked me out the park.

Amazing service! We came here for a late-night meal and one of our dishes was accidentally missed. As soon as they realized, the staff kept apologizing, took that dish off the bill, and even removed the service charge. They were so sincere and kind the whole time.
The food is tasty, and it’s a great spot for late-night dining around the Fort Lee area. Not just a place to eat, but a place to feel really well taken care of. Super, super impressed with their service – I’ll definitely be back!

I was really disappointed with this place. You can’t taste the actual food at all — everything is drowned in sauce. There’s no real flavor or quality, and honestly it feels like something you could get from a cheap takeout spot with a bottle of sauce. Definitely not worth the money.

amazing experience! the staff is so unbelievably kind and thoughtful they even made this vegan teriyaki dish with tare for me including tofu for extra protein! My friend got the spider roll as well. they had great recommendations on drinks and I got the sweet sparkling peach sake! DW, our waiter was literally so awesome, so clear and communicative, & on top of everything!! Literally would come back just for his service alone, he loves his job, you can tell by the absolutely stellar performance!!

The food was very good. The service was relatively fast, but we had an early dinner and the restaurant was empty. The waiters seemed a little distracted so we needed to keep calling them to get their attention. We went with a toddler and the waiter was very patient with her. The sushi rolls were delicious and very well priced. The ramen was good.
