Sagebrush barbecue and grill has a huge menu and a huge dining room. The prices are on the high side ($23 for a burger, $12 for a grilled cheese, $15 for fried okra), but what you would expect in a tourist town. However, the quality didn’t match the price for us. The nachos were disappointing – over salted bagged chips with canned refried beans and canned salsa. There were some vegetarian options on the menu, which was great to see. The service was fantastic and so was the atmosphere.

I cannot rate Sagebrush highly enough. Seriously, the best restaurant I’ve ever been to and the most amazing service! We will definitely return and will recommend to everyone! Such a great place in a Hallmark-type town!

My girlfriend and I had one of the best meals in Grand Lake at Sagebrush. I had a New York strip and she had a delicious burger. The service was exceptional, but it was a little busy. But it was Labor Day weekend. Either way this place is great to eat the dinner food is absolutely amazing.

I had an incredible meal at Sagebrush BBQ & Grill! I went with the BBQ mix plate featuring the brisket and elk brats, and both were absolutely amazing.
The brisket was tender and packed with flavor, and the elk brats were a unique, delicious standout that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for something beyond the standard BBQ fare. The portions were generous, and the quality of the meat was top-notch.
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality BBQ with some great wild game options, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Had breakfast, lunch and drinks in two different visits. Both visits were awesome. Delicious food. The service was great. Zero complaints! Will definitely come back next time I’m in this area!

Sagebrush seemed to be the busiest spot in this little lake town but it was well worth it! We waited about 30 minutes and when we got in, the atmosphere was colorful and inviting! Pretty much the whole menu looked great especially the drinks. We ended up picking a 3 protein combo with fruit and 3 sausages combo! Took some home of course!! Quick service and totally yummy food!! Highly recommend

We stopped in for lunch and got to enjoy the patio seating with great weather! The bruschetta garlic bread app was really good off their summer menu. I had the California Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries and thought it was really good as well. My husband had the Rocky Mountain Elk Burger and said it was definitely unique with the raspberry chipotle sauce but he still enjoyed it. Our server was great and I feel like service was fairly quick – but we did get there around 10:45am for an early lunch and beat the lunch crowd that showed up right around 11:15am. We’ll definitely be back!

Stephany was a superb waitress, she made our visit great. The food was nice, huge portions, slightly higher prices. Everything went well, their homemade BBQ sauce is amazing, one of the best I ever tried.

We searched Google for a place to have dinner while on a weekend camping trip at Shadow Mountain Lake and decided on Sagebrush. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband chose a 6 oz sirloin with a side of pork ribs with their signature Sagebrush BBQ sauce. The fountain drinks were served in huge cups and lasted the entire meal. Our server was Tanner and he was polite and attentive even though it was a very busy Saturday evening. The prices were higher as expected for a Grand Lake restaurant and we paid around $40 per person including the tip. I would eat here with a return to Grand Lake and probably order the buffalo chicken sandwich again as well!

Ryan our server truly made the experience such a breeze!!! Before we could even finish a drink he was there with another and our order was correct and DELICIOUS! What didn’t we eat? We got the build your own platters trying things like buffalo meatloaf, elk sausage, brisket, and steak. There was zero food left on our plates. But it didn’t stop there, then we got the peach cobbler and it was demolished before Ryan could even ask if we’d enjoyed it. Absolutely would recommend!
