Sage S&L is a delightful place to go for a few drinks with friends, a wedding anniversary, a first date or just about any occasion. Situated off the main avenue in downtown Loveland, there’s plenty of parking in the back and streetside. Sage has comfortable chairs and couches. The ambience is romantic and chic. Our hosts Mary & Maddie are people you’d consider taking home with you. My wife and I were there celebrating our anniversary. It was the perfect spot for us. Maddie and Mary made sure our evening was special. They were professional, hospitable and sweet. We had a great time. Great place for a good conversation and relaxation. The drinks and plates are delicious. It was a 5⭐️experience!

Great little place for beautifully crafted cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres. The service was superb and the food was exceptional. The drinks were delightful, little on the pricier side but the attention to detail and presentation is what elevates the menu to the next level. I had the hush money and it was topped with a smoke bubble definitely one of my favorites. I also ordered the tarragon chicken bruschetta bites and they were exquisite. The green goddess sandwiches were also divine and the carnitas taco bites were quite good as well. Loved the ambiance and the oldies playing in the background along with the elegance decor it really set the mood.

Food is excellent, service is very good, drinks are excellent and unusual; but, I only go when the piano guy is laying down sophisticated music! What I love about this place is it has the feel of a bar in New York or Chicago! You don’t find that in Loveland Colorado too often. I also like that the staff is dressed up like it’s a bar in Chicago or New York. I wish they would have a dress code that didn’t allow people in who were wearing shorts and T-shirts. I know it’s Colorado, but why not have one place that has a little sophistication?

An absolute gem of a speakeasy!
The atmosphere was truly stellar — from the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different era. The heavy cocktail glasses added such a luxurious touch, and every drink on the menu had its own unique, well-crafted recipe. You can tell a lot of thought went into the mixology here. The ambience was perfectly on point: cozy, intimate, and effortlessly cool. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable night out!

Great place to host an event! I have worked with Celeste to host events at Sage Speakeasy & Lounge.

Every time my guests ls come here they are wowed by the quality of space, and the VIP service.

The seats are super comfy, and the space is quiet with great acoustics. If you have an event under 50 people, have it here!

I’ve visited Sage Speakeasy twice now and I’m quite impressed. The first time was a spontaneous visit and as soon as I walked in I felt a little self-conscious because I was casually dressed. It’s immediately obvious that this place is classier than your average downtown Loveland bar/pub. The staff assured me that they’re the only ones who have to dress up and that I was fine.

The drinks are the star attraction here and they have both familiar cocktails and some really creative ones. Two big thumbs up for Shaun who really impressed me with his deep bartending knowledge. You can tell him approximately what you’re looking for and he will steer you in the right direction. His recommendations were excellent and I loved every drink I tried. Definitely try the Bacon Washed Old Fashioned which was superb.

The food options are limited to small-plate appetizer style dishes, so you might want to eat a main meal before coming here. Also, it is a bit pricey, but that will buy you a more sophisticated kind of experience. I love breweries and brewpubs, but this is a nice change of pace and a really good complementary addition to the downtown Loveland scene. Highly recommended.

Sage Speakeasy & Lounge is one of the best hidden gems in Loveland. The atmosphere is always spot-on — warm, stylish, and inviting — and it’s the perfect place for both casual meetups and business events. Their staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about creating a great experience for every guest.

We’ve hosted events here and have always been impressed. The service is smooth, the drinks are fantastic, and the vibe makes people want to stay and connect. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into everything they do.

Highly recommend Sage to anyone looking for a high-quality lounge experience in Northern Colorado. Always a pleasure to visit!

I was at Sage Speakeasy tonight for an event. Each time I’ve been here I have been impressed with the attention to detail in everything they do. From the beautiful presentation and flavors of my Old Fashioned Mocktail, to the tossed salad with delicious dressing, finger sandwiches and desert. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy, perfect for a nice gathering, intimate date or a casual business meeting. You’ll love the vibe and offerings.

Best smoked bacon washed old fashion I’ve ever had. The smoke show was also a great cocktail.
As for the food, the stuffed mushrooms and beef crudites were lovely. The lobster bisque was ok. I think it was a little too thick but still had great flavor.

Visited Sage with my sister and friend on a Saturday evening. Showed up promptly for a 6pm reservation. Which they could not find and said they did not have. It was not until after my friend showed the hostess her confirmation email that they actually “found” our reservation and seated us.
Got seated and proceeded to rather quickly order cocktails and a few small plates as we know service here can take a while. Cocktails were beautifully presented and delicious. That being said, beware the up charges. Extra charges for call brand liquor? Totally get it and I’m fine with those. But a $1 for a splash of olive juice to make a martini dirty? $1.50 for olives? (Neither charge was disclosed – found them on our bill.) Don’t get me wrong, the decor, ambience and overall vibe here is lovely. But a $22.50 martini? Yikes. Our food arrived a bit later. First up, stuffed mushrooms. Small, shriveled and cold. They arrived significantly before our other plates and I cannot help but wonder if they were a kitchen mistake that sat under lamps for a while until they could pawn them off on us. The meatball bites and the warm brie were much better and saved the day. But when we ran short of toasts before we ran out of brie, we asked if we could possibly get just a few more to finish up a tiny bit of cheese remaining. They brought us an entire basket. We sent it back. They charged us for it anyway.
I have mixed feeling for sure. It’s pretty. Has a great atmosphere. Service, though a bit slow, was friendly and attentive. Drinks were well crafted, but pricey. Food seemed to be hit or miss. But when you visit an upscale cocktail lounge and get hit with petty little undisclosed charges for silly things like olive juice, and are expected to pay for items you sent back to the kitchen, it sours the experience afterward.
