The atmosphere it was nice outdoor. We feel welcome by Ashley, which it was our server and she was attentive. I didn’t get my expectations fulfill my son order a hot chocolate. It looks like it was made with water instead of milk. It did not have the fresh whipped cream and I ordered the San Francisco turkey stack, I would like to have melted cheese instead.

I want to like this restaurant more. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere (inside and out) are nice. My wife really likes coming here on our annual trip, but every time I am disappointed with my food. I’ve gotten the chicken and waffles once and the chicken was like cardboard. Nothing but hard pieces. The pancakes are fine. Today I tried a sourdough French toast with chocolate ganache. I was very excited… The French toast was flavorless. Maybe that’s intentional because of the chocolate sauce coming with it but another disappointment for me. She tends to enjoy her egg based dishes so I would have to stick with that next time. But after waiting an hour for our breakfast to come out, I’m not sure we’re coming back. It’s Sunday (busy), but with two young kids, it just can’t take that long for a simple breakfast. I know most people love this place, so I feel bad writing a negative/average review but I’ve given it enough chances to turn me positive. For me, today was the last one…

Gourmet Breakfast with Massive Portions! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sage Biscuit is a West Bradenton staple for a high-end, creative breakfast. Think First Watch but with a more artisanal, local flair.
The Food:
Must-Try: You have to get the Sage Biscuit at least once—it’s the house specialty! It’s not for me, but I see why others like it!
Portions: Absolutely massive. Plan on taking a to-go box home; you’ll need it.
The Vibe: Creative and modern. If you prefer a traditional “greasy spoon” diner, this might be a bit too “hipster” for you, but it’s perfect for fans of gourmet brunch.
Know Before You Go:
Atmosphere: It’s a popular, bustling spot, so expect it to be a bit loud during peak hours.
Service: Attentive and efficient even when they’re slammed.
A great choice for anyone seeking a fresh, upscale start to their morning! ☕

Came here with a party of 8 and a baby, we called ahead to let them know even though you can’t make reservations, they kept our party in mind and were able to seat us quickly. Amazing atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had Ana as our waitress, she was totally on top of things despite our large party. I’m not sure if it was the hostess or the owner, but she was super sweet and fun, she made us feel like family. The food was excellent, the drinks were flowing and consistent, the other customers were super chill too. The staff were very responsible and conscious of our food allergies (shellfish and egg) taking the worry out of our dining experience. We came all the way from Tampa and we would love to come again ^^

I’m sure the food and service is great but do not offer a feature to put yourself on a waitlist or claim there is no wait time when there is very obviously a long wait when you arrive at the location. We arrived after checking online and there was a 45 minute wait. Had the waitlist feature actually been accurate, we would’ve put our name on it before arriving. Better luck next time I guess.

Sat outside to avoid the wait and stayed cool enough with the fans going. Had a pleasant experience and a tasty breakfast/brunch. I enjoyed the traditional eggs benedict on the sage biscuit and a couple flavored mimosas. Large menu and great service.

Really loved this spot when working in town. They have a huge menu with lots of great options, and everyone I ate there with really enjoyed their meal. The breakfast sandwich was particularly good and the biscuits are very tasty. The service was very good and the overall vibe of the place was mellow. Loved how much outdoor seating there was too. Would definitely come back.

Valentines Day for brunch and the place was slammed! The hostess brought me in to sit at the bar, and the last seat was so covered with people around it, she felt bad And gave me a four topper.
Great move which earned her a nice tip (not something that usually happens in Florida Restaurants!)
Coffee served quickly with an explanation that there was an hour wait on the food.
I was so famished when it got there that I took the photo after it was mostly done. Delicious skillet and anyone who says they don’t like the biscuits is flat out lying!!!
