Loved this place! Parking might be a bit of a challenge, but I can tell you the food is worth it. We tried Tama Bodi, which I have never had anywhere before. Gingery curried black eyed peas and bamboo shoots. For vegetarians, this would be a stand-out outside your usual North Indian picks. We also had a very nice tandoori fish and shrimp and naan. All washed down with a refreshing ginger tea. We will be back for sure.

Uber order straight into the garbage!
Pakora was burnt and inedible, samosas were so deep fried too hard to bite and tasted like old deep fryer oil. $16.99 for butter chicken – 3 peices of chicken. $80.00 in the garbage. Ordering out is a treat for us every few months so disappointing. No food quality or pride in their business!

I started coming here over 15 years ago. The owner said they have been opened for 15years so I guess I’ve been coming here since it opened. It’s a staple of Hamilton. They have a traditional tandoor oven and the tandoori chicken tikka and vindaloo, madrash curry chicken, lamb, fish, vegetable, shrime, to spicy and very fumus this restaurant is to die for! We didn’t have it today but chose to do a meal combo for two. It was delicious!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving real authentic Indian food made in a traditional tandoor oven that we brought her from India.

Went to Sagarmatha Curry Palace today for the first time while visiting Hamilton. Had the vegetarian Royal Thali. Delicious and very filling for a very reasonable price. Pleasant atmosphere and decor, and excellent service.

Really yummy, flavourful food and excellent service. We are never disappointed coming here and we always have leftovers for the next day (good portion sizes). It’s bright and colourful with nice art depicting the Himalayas and Nepal. This is one of our regular go-to spots.

My first time here and it was a good experience. We were the only two people in the restaurant but it was a Wednesday night and they seemed to be quite busy with deliveries.
The atmosphere is quiet and clean. The workers were pleasant and friendly. The food was well priced and tasted amazing. Even if the service had of been bad, which it wasn’t, I would go back just for the amazing taste of the good.
Delicious.

This restaurant really hit the spot when we were looking for a good place to fulfill our craving for some Indian food. The execution of every dish was perfect and delicious. They let you choose the level of spice that you would like in your dish which is a huge positive, and allows everyone to enjoy the food. The batter for the Pakora and Bhajiya was delicious and crispy, and these dipping sauces were the perfect pairing. I think the Himalayan Beer really stood out and paired really well with all the dishes. It’s a beer that isn’t sold in stores, and is locally brewed specifically for south Asian restaurants, so I highly recommend trying it. The butter chicken was sweet and velvety, and was a solid 10/10 for me. We also ordered the garlic naan which was fluffy and the perfect medium for the curry. I would put the execution and flavours above all other Indian restaurants that I’ve tried, so for me I’m going to go ahead and say that this is my favourite. An interesting note to add is that this cuisine is considered Royal Indian / Nepalese! I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well, dim lighting, well spaced out tables, family-owned vibe, and underground. If you’re thinking about giving them a try, please do, you will not be disappointed, we will absolutely be back to try more!
Also, you cant beat the price for the level of quality

Checked out this restaurant today and wow, the food was awesome—especially the Himalayan Special platter! The staff were super friendly and full of energy. If you’re up for some Nepali / Indian cuisine in Hamilton, you’ve gotta give this place a shot!”
