I have been coming to Saffron since I moved to VB over 5 years ago. I am always pleased with the food, and it’s consistently flavorful and well done. The menu is traditional for an Indian style restaurant, and the culture is abundant. I highly recommend the Aloo Gobi. Great vegetarian and gluten-free items. Saffron is authentic and delicious!

By far one of the best Indian restaurants on the east coast. The quality of food and superb service made my stay at Virginia Beach. The family owned staff was very pleasant and accommodating to allergy and diet. The spices and meats they use are fresh and bring out the color and taste of each dish they serve. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for authentic and high quality Indian food with an excellent staff. Also, the speciality drinks they serve is an added treat. A MUST TRY!

Food is good. Serving size is good. Ambiance is good. Servers were awkwardly good. They tried to be friendly, but I feel the hesitation. Authentic Indian, and we really enjoyed our meal. The smell of the spices welcomes you as you walk in. It’s not that subtle but not that strong also. A notch down would have been perfect, but it’s okay. The restroom is okay, but it needs air freshener. Overall, a bit pricey, but it’s authentic and a goat (good) experience. Yup. I tried goat, and it’s good.

I loved this place, I used to live in town center and the restaurant was always super busy and always smell great, the staff seemed a bit short handed since their wasn’t anyone to greet us when we walked on, but the food was great and was fresh, their was a large party in their they were a bit noisy, but overall everything was great, the wait staff was attentive and kept checking to see if we needed anything, and kept the classes filled with water

A nice modern Indian restaurant that has a great ambiance. This place really hits the spot if you need authentic Indian food. Everything was amazing! Their tikka masala was surprisingly good and mango kulfi tasted delicious. Their biryani was also great, but beware, their mild spice has a kick to it. However, their menu was a bit pricey and their service was disappointing. Our server rarely responded to us saying “thank you,” you had to ask to get a refill and get other things, and was very dull in general. This won’t stop me from coming back, but it was slightly annoying to see this type of service.

I am so sad to come on here and have to write a review but I tried talking to the manager, spoke to the bartender Fernanda numerous times, however no one ever called me back or left me any kind of messages.
I’ve come here numerous times and I bought a kids meal for my toddler son, asked if chicken had spice and if so NO spice please. The order taker assured me there was no spice on a kids meal, to my surprise there was spice! The chicken was red.. and let’s be clear this restaurant is not cheap by any means so you would think they would be on point, he couldn’t eat his meal and there was my money gone.
Instead of trying to rectify the situation I got passed to different folks and the manager, to date, had not tried to help us with replacement or merely our money back, and I have pictures just in case they needed it.
Just wanted to let you all know this recent experience. For the food to be this pricey, and they don’t care about the attention to detail, it makes me wonder. Every dollar counts in this day and I felt like I wasn’t being seen or heard.

The atmosphere, service and food quality are 5 stars! Our server on September 6 was delightful and helpful at selecting dishes. The restaurant was clean and our food was delicious!
