Awesome quaint takeout restaurant mainly. Good service. This was my first visit I was doing business in the area saw it and ordered online. I will be back to try some other menu items the empanadas were tasty. I ordered a Cuban type Tamale to try it was tasty just not my favorite. Masa is delicious and has an empanada for everyone! My favorite is the pabellon but they’re all so tasty. All but the TCB are Gluten Free too. If you’ve never had an emp before you can mix and match to include a more familiar flavor like The Italiana and try something new too. Everyone is always friendly and happy to help. Don’t forget to grab a bacon bomb because the review is in the name. I’ve had the Cuban too and it’s amazing. I’ve never had anything I didn’t love but I usually get my emps.

Just tried Masa this evening for the first time. Ordered 3 of the Colombiano, which was fantastic! Loved it.
Also ordered the Queso empanadas, but I don’t think that’s what I got. I got something that had cheese and something that had an Apple taste to it. It was sweet with a sugar dusting. Whatever it was, it was really good. lol.
I do want to try the queso empanada next time. Really good food and the guy at the counter was really nice. Will be back.

This place is awesome. Matt was super welcoming and had great vibes. He talked to us about all the different options and his recommendations. Really cool twist on empanadas. The tamales are great too. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

I love Masa.I met the owner Robert Carnoske years ago trying his empenadas…I love the beautiful art he puts into his food…the colors and the flavors are out of this world.I couldn’t pick a favorite because they are all SO GOOD! We got takeout tonight and OH MY GOSH it was mouthwatering. We got 12 and in hindsight I wish we had 24 because they are easy to demolish. They are so fresh tasting and the every flavour we had was really really really good. We had queso, TCB, Pabellon, Italiana and Colombiana. I couldn’t pick a favourite.

Having never tried MASA’s food from their truck, I was not sure exactly what to expect when I learned that they had recently opened a brick-and-morter. Luckily, my friend was willing to try out MASA for our weekly Friday dinner. I am personally very glad we made that choice!
The store was not quite what we expected; there is no seating inside and limited outdoor seating, but the man working the counter and cooking everything was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our dietary questions in detail, and–above all else–was extremely friendly and passionate about the food he cooked! That interaction alone more than made up for the lack of seating.
I wound up ordering a batch of the Yuca fries (which will have me coming back time and time again to MASA; they were sooo good, and the sauce that accompanied them was my favorite) and a 6-pack of empanada. My favorites were the Bok Joy, TCB, and the Columbiana from the first batch, but the Pabellón did not disappoint my need to try new flavor combos.
In the end, I wound up ordering a second 6-pack to take home to my family, and they were a huge hit.
The biggest downside of the visit was the lack of seating, as mentioned before. It was not an issue when my friend and I visited, but as the day went on, I could see that people will be coming frustrated as they visited the store, ordered, and had nowhere to sit afterwards. My friend and I wound up moving everything into my car to eat in the AC so that other people could have the table that we were at.
I will definitely be visiting MASA again in the near future. Those yuca fries are calling my name!

My husband & I spontaneously tried Masa Empanadas for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint!!! Matt helped us & was incredibly knowledgeable on everything & super accommodating! We tried all of them but the veggie empanada. They also have take & bake frozen empanadas! Here are my husband & I favorites in order from favorite to least favorite, but they were all AMAZING!!
