Stopped by this restaurant on our way back to our hotel to grab some dinner.
Ordered a tandoori mixed grill and a chicken biriyani and two naans.
To start off , the mix grill was ok. They asked if we wanted papadam and we said sure. My wife ordered a couple of naans and these usually are served as an accompaniment just like the papadam . Unfortunately the food was mediocre for an Indian restaurant. The condiments that consisted of mint chutney, tamarind sauce and onion sambol absolutely had no taste of any of the spices but instead it was just colored green with yoghurt . Taste wise no comparison to the original Indian condiments. Maybe good for folks who have no idea of Indian dishes.
This review is in no way trying to tarnish an image but merely pointing out what is really authentic Indian gourmet.
I was charged for papadams and condiments as these usually come with the main courses .
Service was ok but can be improved. Atmosphere and ambiance were good. Room for improvement.

Very nice Indian restaurant, nice food, lot of flavors. Staff is very polite, willing to make guests welcomed. Very quiet place for talking and having nice quiet dinner, compared to other loud St. Julians restaurants. Portions for main course are not to big, but with starters and naan bread (which is delicious) we were more than full.

Flavors are good. Very stingy with the amount of meat in the dishes. Ordered a butter chicken that didn’t have much chicken in it, and it was thigh meat not breast. You have to order the rice extra. I ordered the Naan also on the side. I think that the food portion is small. Service is a bit slow. Added a picture for empty dishes so you know the portion size. Read all reviews with low scores and you will know and confirm by yourself. I couldn’t reply to the owners rude comment but I would say yes i ate your two spoons of rice and the tiny dish you served me or were you expecting me to pay 35 euros and i also leave you your petty served meal. And your chicken was less than 100g so have some decency. Just revolting

My favorite Indian restaurant on Malta! I keep coming back because the food is always amazing—authentic, flavorful, and served in just the right portions. Chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, and the lamb dishes are absolutely my favourite.
The owner is a fantastic host who’s always happy to help, and the staff is kind and polite. Every visit leaves me happy and satisfied. This place truly deserves more than a 4.0 on Google. Highly recommended!

The food is decent, but the service is another story.
There might be only one waiter working, and he’ll focus on whatever he personally finds more important — not necessarily the paying guests who came to eat.
The staff speaks poor English and can’t explain the dishes, assuming that simply naming them in Hindi is enough.
If you’re not ready to wait, guess and fend for yourself, this restaurant isn’t for you.

Wonderful tasty Indian food at a great price.
Very large and airy restaurant with big windows, very modern decor. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly.
Portions sizes were very good and the dishes were perfectly cooked & spiced. Lots of choice and several dishes we have not seen elsewhere.
My chicken tikka masala was juicy & tasty in a thick aromatic sauce (I had mine spiced up a little) – perfect.
Quality ingredients are obviously used.
Highly recommend this Indian restaurant.

Extremely poor service, rude and neglectful staff, which is a shame because the food was delicious. We ordered starters (mixed grill kebab), which we had asked to come before our mains. The gentleman forgot our order as he was too busy chatting to same customers for the majority of our time there. When we asked where our starters were as our mains were served, the gentleman admitted that he forgot and that he could get them to us quickly. We had finished our mains and there was still no sign of our starters. I had to get out of my seat and tell the gentleman that we wanted to pay the bill and leave. Only then did he say that it was ready and asked for it to be brought out. When we expressed that we didn’t want the food as we were ready to go, he very rudely and aggressively slapped the receipt down on the table in front of us once we paid and refused to even look or speak to us.
Went to complain to the manager, only to find that he WAS the manager! We walked out, disgusted by the way we were treated.
This was absolutely shocking and unprofessional behaviour and is a shame because the food was all halal and we would have happily returned.

Lovely food and had a great time when I dined (three times from 2019-2022 – days a lot as I love different cuisines when on holiday). But the staff are friendly and it’s adequately priced. Would prefer more on their dessert and wine selection though. More French wine please. And more single malt scotch please.
