Established in 2010.
Indian cuisine varies from region to region, and the tastes, colors, and textures of the same delicacy can change every few miles. Till this day, we remain close to our roots- those of experimentation. We are constantly making improvements to our menu and our restaurant, experimenting & sampling many dishes that are served in our Menu.
A variety of classic Indian dishes is offered at this colorful, exotic restaurant.

This place is delicious and is one of my favorite spots. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. With Indian, the containers always look small but it is surprisingly filling. We ordered the butter chicken and the korma paneer which is chunks of cheese in a broth- a good vegetarian option. We get everything mild as we don’t do a lot of spice. The mild still has very good flavor ! We also got the garlic cheese naan which is fantastic. So warm and yummy ! Lastly we got the yellow rice (extra as the other entrees come with white jasmine rice) and it was a nice change up. We will be back soon!

My favorite Indian food restaurant. Amazing dishes with plenty of flavor options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The restaurant itself is perfect for a nice dinner with a partner and the bar is great if you’re visiting solo. Several great beer choices (I get the Lizard’s Mouth and Old Rasputin every time) as well as full bar. Highlights for me are the Nirvana curry, chili paneer, Pesahwari naan and curry fries, but I have never once been disappointed in anything I’ve ever ordered here. Great service, relaxing atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend to all

Visited this place yesterday and place is ok. Ordered Biryani and Chili Paneer. Paneer was not soft and the dish is salty to my liking. Biryani was ok but it’s more like curry rice. Had mango lassi and felt the yogurt was not fresh as it tasted sour mostly because it’s the fermentation technique used. Overall it was kind of ok.
Special mention to the lady as I forgot my head phones and she kept it safely.

Food was ok. Just the run of the mill taste.
Service was way slow. We went for early dinner at 5.30 and it still to offer 30 mins to get our food.
The waiter want reality interested in service Indians and was more information in the locals at the bar.
The ambience is something that represented Indian restaurants 30 years ago. Needs a real facelift. Way too dark and dingy looking.
Not going to miss it.

I highly recommend Saffron Indian Cuisine & Bar to anyone visiting LA. The hospitality from Uncle and Aunty is exceptional, and the Punjabi food is freshly prepared and authentic. We particularly recommend their freshly made strawberry lassi, Amritsari paratha, garlic naan, dal makhani, malai kofta, and the incredible gulab jamun. Even my picky kids loved and thoroughly enjoyed the food!

I LOVED saffron for years but recently they have dropped the ball. This is now the 3rd time I’ve ordered mild and gotten food so spicy I can’t eat it. This time I ordered a vegetable curry, paneer, and tofu and I found a piece of chicken. I hate complaining but this was one of my favorite restaurants and I’m so bummed.

Loved the experience of dining here. Staff was super friendly. They were so cordial. Food was amazing. We ordered Paneer Makhni, Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti and Plain Naan. Everything was super tasty. Rice is complimentary with any curry. Onions were served on the side at no extra cost! In the end, the owner was super nice to let us try some of his homemade gulab jamuns! To be honest, we were traveling a long journey so we were tired and took a quick pit stop at this place and we were totally pleased with their hospitality. We got back all our energy to drive again.
Would definitely recommend and would also love to come back again!
