I’ve eaten here several times and never been disappointed with my food but today I got the garlic parm fried turkey bites and couldn’t even finish the bites. I had more garlic parm sauce and butter than actual bites and the turkey was hard and kinda dry. They usually put just enough garlic parm sauce but it was so much butter and oil, I couldn’t enjoy my food. My mashed potatoes and green beans were perfect though.

We came from Columbus, Ohio for a visit and this place was highly recommended. 10/10. Everything, and I mean everything we had was amazing. The meatloaf was so flavorful and the greens were my favorite. The only thing I will say is that I’m mad I didn’t bring more back with me. Hoping to be back soon though

Went there on last night for the first time based on my neighbors recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. My husband and I got two different meals. He preferred the bbq turkey ribs with fried corn and collars and I got the fried smothered turkey chops with buttered rice and collard greens. When I say flavorful and filling. That’s an understatement. The food was really good. Turkey can be a bland meat if not seasoned well and they did that!! My meal was enough for three sittings (lunch, dinner and lunch again). The lady behind the counter was really helpful with suggestions as well as being personable. The other customers waiting were friendly and made the experience that more pleasurable. I added a piece of lemon pound cake to my order because I wanted to try everything they had to offer.

Our first time eating here and it did not let us down, someone felt like cooking. I ordered the smothered turkey chop dinner with the greens and yams, first off the smothered turkey chops was while seasoned, not dry, the gravy was also not to heavy or thick just right and also seasoned, fried just right not overly floured but just enough where you still tasted the chop and seasoned turkey chop a 10/10 for me. My guy ordered grilled turkey chop dinner, turkey spaghetti and green beans, again grilled turkey moist not dried out seasoned and delicious and the food was fresh, spaghetti ( for me was okay I like more sauce) however my guy loved it ( No joke everything was seasoned with love ) the green beans delicious, the yams was delicious ( to me more sugar was needed but I can tell they bake the yams so natural sugar you could taste) which is fine I bake mines also I give the yams a 7/10. The greens 8/10. Final thought would we come back yes, the service was good they knew we was first time customers so the red carpet was doing it big. And the prices are not bad they give you alot of turkey meat. My only thing is they should create a family meal menu. But great business and even better food and service.

I have ordered from here a few times and enjoyed the food. Today the food was a disappointment. I ordered Hazel’s flat wings combo. Turkey wings were fine. The macaroni and cheese missed completely. It was kind of a paste, like they ran out of cheese. No cheese pull. Didn’t bother finishing it. The greens were blah. Cornbread was a little dry. The food turned me off from this place. I hope they get it together.

Ordering on the phone was pleasant and efficient because I ordered $67 worth of items and it was all correct when I received my order. Turkey Ribs ($19) were tender, Turkey Chops Smothered ($18) Turkey Cajun Bites ($12) tasty, Greens w/turkey ($4) were tender, Dressing was ok, Mac & Cheese (extra $2) was good but the yams looked and tasted like mashed potatoes (not good!). The Strawberry Lemonade Slush($3) had an after taste (not good). Cornbread was sweet and hot. This was my 1st time here and based on the food I will return to give it a 2nd try….not in the best area but I will still support and go early in the day.

The yams, mashed potatoes, boneless bites and greens were good. The turkey chops were full of gristle and the spaghetti had a weird coating and a smell of an herb (basil or thyme). Unfortunately, the turkey chops were chewy and inedible. The turkey polish came naked and they were almost out of a lot of sides. They charge if you want onions or other toppings on your turkey polish. We got the last greens, they were out of turkey chilli, and we purchased the last of a few other sides, which was weird considering it was around 6:30pm. There was a steady flow of customers and the cashier was nice. I’ve had better, but I’m glad they have the community supporting them.

You know what’s better than good customer service?….Great food!!!! OMG this food is so yummy! I went there today and got the garlic parmesan turkey chops with Mac and cheese/sweet potatoes. Also purchased a turkey bowl and a slice of their pound cake. So the young lady I placed my order with suggested I do half fried and half grilled(garlic parmesan chops) both were sooooo good! Don’t get me started on the cake I’m so amazed at how they combined sweet potato pie with pound cake lol but it was delicious. The Mac and cheese/ sweet potatoes were good too…. different from what I’m used to but that’s the point because it’s their recipe. It’s so much more I can say about this place but I’m just going to spread the word and I’ll definitely be back!

Yesterday I ordered the turkey burger and fries , the turkey burger was cooked and season to perfection it’s probably the best I’ve had, the fries was really good also, the person who took our order was friendly full of smiles and very professional, I’ll be back soon.
