We stopped by on a road trip home and we were throughly impressed. We checked out neighboring food trucks. but were drawn back to these guys with the amazing aromas coming from the truck.
We got 3 rolls: the crunchy, the 911, and thr golden California roll. We also got the an order of egg rolls. All of which was amazing and too much for two people lol. The rolls were huge and flavorful. Everything had great quality. The wait to receive food was a little long but worth the wait. We also understand that food trucks usually make to order so we dont mind waiting.

For a food truck. MY GOD! IT IS DELICIOUS!!! I had the triple hibachi, Shrimp, Chicken, and Meat, which all tasted deliciousand meat had a nice char.. Good sizing, both for vegetables, proteins, and rice, the ‘yumyum’ sauce is delicious, cream and rich. Also not to mention great pricing! I also got the cucumber roll. It was so fresh and crunchy.

Loved our experience here! The food was amazing. The sauce on the hibachi noodles was my favorite part and the fried rice had so much flavor. Great serving sizes too! One plate and two sides fed my family of four. The tables behind the trailer were shaded for dinner and made a great place to eat. The owner Christina came out to chat with us for a minute and was so kind. It’s great to have them in Rigby. We will be back 🙂

5 Stars is not high enough for SAE Hibachi. The food is seriously so good but what really sets it apart are the people. The owners and staff are the most genuine, welcoming and kind individuals i’ve ever met. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service and atmosphere come together so perfectly. I’ll be coming back again and again.

Service: not terrible, but we took our order and left
Wait time: maybe 10 minutes
Environment: seemed really clean, the shaded seats were really nice to wait under.
Price: $$ (~$14/plate or more if you want noodles)
Now the reason why we gave it only 4 stars…
We had been so excited to try and we were kind of disappointed. My husband had the shrimp noodles and the noodles weren’t that great, but adding the yum yum sauce made them better. The shrimp was really good though. I had the steak hibachi with fried rice. The vegetables were really good (carrots were slightly undercooked, but the rest was really good and made up for that). The fried rice was ok. There wasn’t anything super special about it. The steak was super dry and overcooked. I had my kids eat it because it wasn’t easy to chew and they had more patience for it than I did. Overall, it was just “ok”. It likely won’t make our date night options as it just didn’t “wow” us.
