As an old historic Fort Worth home between the city and the stockyards, this venue offers California wines and local craft beers. Immerse yourself in a setting where preserved charm meets tasteful discovery. Food trucks frequently on site. Picnicking (yes, you can bring your own food!) highly encouraged. No pets, please. 21+ only. Please note our property relies on street parking along Samuels Avenue. Be mindful of restrictions signs around the property, as there are several apartment complexes with strict towing policies. If you live nearby, we highly recommend walking.

Wine choices are decent, though pricing is….Odd, at least to me coming from bartending background. Not expensive riding the line for the options offered.
Food options were not good, to me really. There was a food truck, pricing was more than anticipated for street tacos, yet tasted like microwaved tacos. Never saw them actually cooking, nor did I smell anything cooking, it was just…ready, fast.
Granted, when we arrived, it was pretty dead, so odd that they were already out of certain foods and drinks.
It did pick up after little over an hour, yet still, nothing cooking nor did we smell it, odd, really odd.
Overall, It’s a toss up really if I could try it again. I would like to say Valentines was the issue, however, it was not cause again, rather empty, but definitely not staffed accordingly either.
Did not have a bad time, just did not have a great time either, somewhere in the middle.
I loved their large wine selection. It was all reasonably priced and there was a lot of variety, which I appreciate coming from a small-business winery!! I gravitate towards dry and tart wines, and there was a LOT here that I enjoyed, as well as options for my friends who prefer sweeter wines!
More than anything, though, I think my favorite part of Saddlerock is the atmosphere. The house it is based out of is BEAUTIFUL with expansive amounts of outdoor seating and indoor options. The lighting fixtures that hang from the trees are breathtaking at night, too.
I love this place, and it is perfect for group outings, as well as for taking yourself out to have some solo reading time, etc! Highly recommend!!
Service: Travis has been awesome to talk to. Really knowledgeable and friendly, I trust his judgment. Ronit has always been sweet and helpful during events and wine pickups.
Most times they have a taco truck open for some decent grub. Love coming here with my wife or larger groups.
