We were finally able to make it to Sad Boyz and give their highly heralded hamburgers a try and we were hardly disappointed in the least. After a morning of hiking in Batsto Village we were famished and ready for a good meal. We were immediately greeted by their friendly and helpful staff, the spot is well kept and clean with a modern vibe to it. We went for their classic double and triple stack burgers, which were tasty, grilled smash style and perfect. The burgers came with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and their special Sad Boyz sauce, it is sandwiched between a big, fresh and delicious brioche bun. The beef that they use is of the highest quality and in my mind is what separates it from any other burgers. We accompanied our food with a large order of their excellent homemade fries and some super delectable milk shakes. We were very impressed with Sad Boyz and glad that it surpassed the hype surrounding it, something that doesn’t happen very often.

Got a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel and it was absolutely delicious! The bagel was very thick and packed full with eggs & sausage and a good amount of cheese. I like that the eggs are thin and layered and perfectly cooked. The hash brown was on point, crunchy and salty as it should be!
Everyone is very nice as the building is always clean. Definitely a good spot to check out if you’re in town.

thank you to thomas (the guy who makes the bomb cold brews and takes your orders and who’s also my boyfriend) for introducing me to my favorite place and to the really cool guys who own it and work their butts off every day. jona and pat are the best and their food showcases that so well. you’ll never be disappointed here truly. sadboyz is the place that will always feel like home. I’ve only had the breakfast sandwich and dark roast coffee, the coffee and bread always tastes fresh. I’ll definitely keep going back for more. The prices are affordable, the place is very clean, including the restroom and the service is very friendly. Room temp is usually on the cool side, which I don’t mind, but if you prefer warm cozy dining, then I suggest you wear a sweater or light jacket. My only regret is not having tried this place several years ago. Definitely worth it.

My husband and I went here twice this week, once for breakfast and another time for dinner. All the food was so good! He got the sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I got bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Both were very good with generous portions. When we got dinner we both got the smash burgers which were great! I had to bring half home because it was so filling. The fries were great too and my husband loved the crumb cake milkshake. Definitely somewhere we’ll likely be eating at again.

This place is definitely the best smash burger I have ever had! The beef patty’s were not greasy at all and the edges of the smash patty’s were perfectly crispy. The lettuce and tomato’s were super fresh and the bread was extremely soft and had a perfect texture that held the burger together really well. Their other items are really good too such as the cheesesteaks and their milkshakes are extremely tasty. Their blueberry muffin was elite as well. Overall the place is super cozy and the burger was really clean, I have drove down from New York multiple times just to try this burger. Must try!

The food is absolutely AMAZING! We got an order of fries, a smash burger, and a burger of the month. Everything was delicious!! I would love to go back to try their breakfast (and everything else on the menu)! The staff were nice and the service was good. Highly recommend stopping by! So impressed!!!!

This place was amazing to say the least. Breakfast sandwich was delicious and tasted fresh. Smash burgers were juicy and huge. Brought my whole crew on a ride just to try them out and they did not disappoint. The service was super friendly and the guy at the register went out of his way to take care of us. I had a sausage egg and cheese bagel that was spectacular. Loaded with eggs and sausage and the bagel was perfect. Several of my friends had the smash burgers and they looked amazing and they said they were amazing. Totally coming back to try one. Place has a great vibe, kitchen looks super clean and so did the whole place. A must go! All my Boyz are dying to go back!

We randomly stopped here on our way home from AC and we are so glad we did because the food was AWESOME! We got an Oreo shake to share and once we tried it, we immediately regretted not getting two lol. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and they give good portions for a very good price! I would highly recommend this place!!
