Delicious, it took about 15-20 minutes for our pizza to come out. It was good, I’ve had better… but it was actually very solid. the place is halal which is a nice add for those who like that. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion for the sizes and that does discourage me from coming to eat here again.
Overall however, still a good place to eat at once in a while and the food actually tastes well.

TLDR: The pizza looks a lot better than it tastes.
Didn’t have a lot of time to prep dinner yesterday so decided to try out Sac City Pizza. I’ve driven by them a number of times and they had excellent reviews.
Ordering was easy online (although the checkout got pretty involved if you want to create an account), parking was plentiful on a Sunday evening, and the place was empty when I picked up my pizza. The interior was pretty sparse but I suspect a lot of their business is take-out and delivery.
My SacCity Combo pizza was ready when I arrived, the employee was very friendly, and I took some of the offerred parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Everyone has their preference for pizza styles and this one is pretty classic. Thicker crust, heavy cheese, lots of toppings, and cooked in a modern pizza oven.
Unfortunately while the pizza looked delicious but was really kind of disappointed as I started in. The sauce was kind of weak and while the crust was nicely crisp, also tasted kind of like frozen dough? Cheese was also just ok and I’d guess the whole thing just tasted kind of bland.
There are a lot of people who love this pizza but I’m just not a fan and doubt I’ll return. Giving it 3 stars as I wouldn’t say the pizza was bad either.

I was given an impossible task on a Thursday morning to find a pizza place in Sacramento to feed 245 teenagers and staff for Friday about 4! See we are from Grants Pass Oregon and our Marching Band and Color Guard was competing Saturday at the university and needed to eat once we arrived in town before they practiced Friday night! I called Raul, the owner, sorry if the spelling is wrong! I told him what I needed and he said “no problem! What time do you need them?” I was running late and had to adjust the pickup time a little bit and again it was no problem! The pizzas where great! The kids loved them! And we got first in the competition! If our Band and Guard compete down in Sacramento again, I will for sure order dinner at Sac City Pizza! Thank you so much from the GPHS MarchingBandandColorGuard! Ordered a medium combination. Very skimpy on the toppings. I paid extra to add artichoke hearts and alll of the pieces didn’t even equal a quarter of on artichoke heart! What a joke. I called and the person who answered the phone said she put them on but less than a quarter of an artichoke heart is ridiculous! She said I could order again and she wouldn’t charge me for it next time. Do better!

What a gem! This pizza spot had something for everyone—tons of delicious choices that (surprise!) were included in the daily special. The owner even suggested sweet chili wings (not even on the menu!) and they were a total hit—crispy, flavorful, and with just the right kick. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made it even more special, adding to a wonderful moment of family coming together in Sacramento. After cheering on the Sacramento Derby Kodiaks, this was the perfect place to “break pizza” and soak up the good vibes. Grateful for the great food, kind service, and a night to remember! ❤️

We picked up a garden supreme. Our first time here. Unfortunately it felt like it was made by someone who didn’t think we should eat veggies! It had only a tiny sprinkle of veggies compared to the photos I see shared here. We felt cheated and didn’t get a supreme serving of vegetables. Instead we had a ton of white sauce and cheese. Hardly any flavor! Also the thin crust wasn’t thin and it not was not anything that complimented the pizza we got.
The garlic pesto sticks were better than the pizza.
We won’t be back, it ruined Friday night dinner!
