I celebrated my birthday at Sobroso and had the most amazing time from the moment I was greeted by our hostess I knew we were in for a treat. The aesthetic was exciting and very cultural we were immersed in Panamanian culture all around. Our waitress Jennifer greeted us with a warm smile after we were seated and took our drinks order. My table was reserved, and marked with a foil balloon and our names very simple but thoughtful. The food was delicious well seasoned and as Jamaicans we appreciated. They had a series of activities so dinner and a show which was very interesting and interactive with audience. It was very fun to watch and participate all countries in attendance was acknowledged with a song or dance from that country … Sobroso owes us nothing!!! Definitely recommend!!!

The food is very fresh and delicious! The menu offers a nice selection of Panamanian food; I especially like the obvious African influences (i.e., rice and pigeon peas aka arroz con gandules).
Axel and the manager Diego provided the best customer service experience! All of the establishments in Panama are kind with very good customer service but Axel and Diego went above and beyond to the moon (warm, friendly, & full of knowledge about their country and globally)!

Atmosphere was lovely for the first night in Panamá. Food was good. The fried foods for me had a taste I wasn’t fond of and couldn’t describe well. Almost like the oil was too hot? Not sure. The food service was the quickest I’ve had on the entire trip. Staff was very attentive. DJ was a vibe. I love that the bus was the DJ Booth. They did classic Panamanian dances but love that they involved the foreigners present. The flan was divine. Biggest regret was that I only had one slice the entire trip!

Went here for lunch and it was great. We were really happy and full after our meal. I was a little worried that it might be one of those tourist places where the food is okay but it wasn’t. The food was delicious! Our server Javier was wonderful. He was welcoming, friendly and attentive but not overly. The place has a fun vibe and when we find ourselves in Panama City again we would love to go here for dinner. We would imagine it would be a fun place. But whether for lunch or dinner I would recommend it. The views were beautiful, food and drinks delicious and service was excellent!

This is a gret Panamenian restaurant with a nice ocean view (from the second floor). I tried thier authentic traditional food and it was excellent. The portions were good too. Their prices were on the higher end, but not that bad. Their drinks were good also. I recommend it.

Very tropical vibe, waitresses in typical dresses, music and the whole atmosphere make sit a whole experience. Both the adults and kids loved it .
