This seafood restaurant is a real gem: a cozy, well-kept atmosphere, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner. The food is simply delicious – incredibly fresh fish, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
The service is impeccable: friendly, smiling staff ready to recommend the best dishes on the menu.
If you’re in Alexandria and love great seafood, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!
As I’m not a local nor an Egyptian, my husband ordered everything… from grilled sea bream to prawns with cream to seafood soup or chowder to rice and all the sides in the world. When the food arrived at our place, it was still warmth, alhamdulillah.
Out of all the food I tasted, I wish my husband bought a big pot of the seafood soup or chowder. It was so delicious!!! I drank it all in only three sips, oh God, it is so goooooood!
We would come here again during summer or spring, insyaAllah, as my tropical self cannot take Alexandrian winter wind. I’ll love to be in sweaty self, yet with the chowder once again. Lolz.
Definitely worth the visit
True crabs were also amazing and tasty. I liked all the food, shrimps, crabs.
Highly recommend restaurant to visit.
We decided on fried and buttered shrimp, sea bass, calamari, fries, and a few other sides. The food arrived in about 25 minutes, and I must say, it was well worth the wait. Every dish was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The quality of the seafood was evident, and each bite was more delicious than the last.
Overall, the meal was a delightful experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. This restaurant has certainly earned a repeat visit from us, and I can’t wait to return for another delicious meal!
This place, however, was the complete opposite. The restaurant claimed to serve “fresh seafood,” but the cleanliness alone made us uncomfortable even standing there.
While we were ordering, I caught a clear view of the kitchen, and it looked dirty and poorly maintained. That immediately raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety, and that was the moment I decided I couldn’t eat there.
The biggest issue was the pricing and treatment. As soon as the staff realised we were not Egyptian, the prices suddenly became unclear and kept changing. Every time we asked for a price, the man would walk off, talk to another worker, and come back with a new, higher number. There was no menu, no transparency, and no consistency.
What made it worse was seeing the table next to us being charged significantly less for similar items. That’s when it became obvious we were being treated as easy targets rather than customers.
On top of all this, the attitude became rude and dismissive when we questioned the prices. Instead of explaining, they got annoyed and made comments in Arabic among themselves, which only added to how uncomfortable the situation felt.
We ended up leaving and going to SeaSide Restaurant, which was clean, professional, beautifully located by the sea, and exactly what you’d expect from a proper seafood dining experience. The contrast was huge.
Egypt is full of incredible food and genuinely warm people — this place just isn’t one of them. I strongly recommend others avoid this restaurant and choose somewhere with clear pricing, proper hygiene, and basic customer service.
People are very nice and seafood is Fresh and really delicious.
VERY IMPORTANT!!! PRICE IS FAIR.
