My husband and myself are over the road truck drivers and we try pizza and calzones all over the united states and this is a great and tasty stop and we would highly recommend it we called our order in and it was so fast and the women who took our order was very sweet , informative and helpful. I only can eat Pizza every two to three months and I found their pizza very outstanding.. Their antipasto salad is big and worth the price. However, New Years eve, I tried to order Pizza at 5PM and it stated on the web that they were open till 8PM. I tried to call and it went to voice mail? I tried to order on line, nothing. So in the snow storm I went to their location. I pulled in and they were open. I walk up to the counter and encounter a beautiful young lady and she informs me that they are closed. I thought she was fooling me but she then rendered the worst excuse ever. She stated that they had to close because a manager called in. They were open for another 2.5 hours and they closed because a manager called off. Talk about the worst excuse you could give a customer. Well I have been lied to before and all I saw was that they were open and did not want to work. They seemed to be still making food when I got there. Just another restraunt where people did not want to work. Sabo’s you lost another customer. If you are going to lie to a customer, maje it something valid not BS.

This pizza is Phenomenal!
First time I’ve tried it & it’s noticeable that the quality of ingredients is top notch.
I don’t always take the time to write reviews but I was inspired to do so bc even the side of ranch is absolutely delicious!
This area of town is lacking in pizza that is actually exceptional & made with love but after trying this pizza – I can say wholeheartedly that I will be ordering again 🙂

When this place first opened I would get dinner here just about once a week. Food was great. I moved away for a number of years and recently moved back to the area. I have tried several times to call and order in the past two months. Phone just rings and goes to a full voice mail. Google indicated they were open so I took a ride to find an open sign, young man sweeping the floor and no one else inside. Verified the number and called again. No answer.

Online ordering is not always practical for those who want to secure their cc information. The online process is not always practical for special request, seniors or people who are on the move. Not a fan of walking in to place an order and having to wait. You may want to reevaluate your EVP to help resolve your staffing issues. Understandably if your business model is keeping the lights on and your happy with the way your business model is, you may want to consider making the phone number private and advertise online ordering only to deflect future negative reviews.

If you haven’t been to Sabos in Fairview, pennsylvania, you’re missing out. I ordered the combo balls and garlic bread with cheese. Both were excellent and priced fairly. The lady that waited on me was so kind. This place has a pleasant vibe of its own. Please place an order online to go or dine in.

Tried to call ina order for 20 minutes and couldn’t get intouch with anyone, kept going to a full voice mail. Ran down from Girard to place the order, and got back home to find the sauces on the sandwiches were switched and had upset hungry people. Tried to call again and the phone still didn’t work. I did mention the phone issue to them and the lady told me the phone e keeps going dead and won’t work. Then get a new phone that works! Im sure you would receive more business. So now I have to decide what I am going to do for this big mistake since I have no way to contact them about the order being done wrong.

I grew up in Fairview. When Sabo’s opened…the uniqueness of the crust, sauce, and everything was perfect. Every chance I get to take a day trip up, I do to just relive some of my youth. I drive from Pittsburgh to get a slice of the past. I have never had a bad service from this place. The staff have always been great, and the food has never left me wanting more. I am glad to see they are still up and going. I will be in the area next month and plan again to wet my whistle with Sabos for my trip home.

Ordered hoagies this visit. Two Philly steak and cheese. My grandson asked them to hold the onions and peppers, and they could not as the mixture is already put together. Holding the peppers and onions kind of defeats the whole idea of a Philly steak, but that’s what he wanted. He ended up getting it and enjoying the meal anyway. But what concerned me a bit was the fact that it wasn’t made fresh and to order and that they couldn’t leave it off. The sandwiches were great, and I would recommend them. The service was quick and friendly.

I have allergies to soy , dairy and eggs . So when I asked what oils were used I was told its a secret ,I explained about my allergies and said perhaps the owner can make a list for the employees so when someone like me asks is there soy in the sauce they can say yes or no without having to say its a secret…. Other then that service was great.
