I went last week and the food was okay but there was a hair in my food and when we told the waitress she was very rude about it and just walked away and got the manager who was even worse, she grabbed the box and said “well do you want it?” in a sarcastic tone and when we said no she said okay angrily and walked away. When we went to check out, the staff was rude and just stared at us as she gave a 10% off thing for our food, which took 3 dollars off. Not only did they give terrible service but they were very unprofessional and didn’t even apologize for the hair in the food. When we was leaving i started laughing because who doesn’t laugh in awkward situations and the waitress with blonde hair said rudely “is something funny” in a very sarcastic way like she had a problem with me. Terrible experience and WILL NOT be back. the food is mediocre and it’s not worth the terrible service that you receive from the staff of ALL teenagers who act like they have no home training.

My wife just had a baby, and some close friends placed a pickup order for us from La Bella Vita. When the restaurant heard about our situation, they didn’t hesitate — they personally delivered the order to our home. On top of that, they surprised us with a couple of their incredible desserts and a handwritten congratulatory note. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare.
And the food? As an Italian myself, I don’t say this lightly — the chicken parmigiana was absolutely perfect, just like my grandmother used to make. Comforting, authentic, and cooked with care.
We are incredibly blessed to live right down the road from a restaurant that offers not only outstanding food, but truly exceptional service. La Bella Vita Italian Grill has officially become our go-to spot in Boiling Springs and Shelby. Highly, highly recommend.

We’ve had a few meals here lately and enjoyed several different menu items. The dine in menu has changed, so some of the things I wanted to try had been discontinued – see their website menu for the updated version. The large calzone is the size of a large pizze folded in half and the toppings are unlimited! It typically is on the greasy side. While the mushroom alfredo was exciting to see on the menu, it was made with canned mushrooms and bland sauce. The cheese curds were crunchy on the outside and melty on the inside – just how you want them to be! I’ve tried the Greek chicken platter with extra veggies and loved it! It came with fries, a salad, and tzaiki sauce. The La Bella Specialty is similar, but also includes beef; the beef was rubbery and hard to eat, but the chicken was seasoned and tender. We felt like the prices were average for what was ordered in the area. Staff have always been friendly.

I was really disappointed with this place. Everything we ordered was bland and poorly made. The cheese curds were overloaded with garlic to the point where it was all you could taste. The chicken Alfredo pizza was extremely greasy and heavy, not enjoyable at all.
The shrimp Alfredo was the worst part — it tasted like plain boiled shrimp thrown on pasta with a sauce that had absolutely no flavor. No seasoning, no richness, nothing that tasted like Alfredo.
For an Italian restaurant, the food seriously lacked flavor and balance. I won’t be coming back.

This place was perfect for our family size. 2 adults, 7 children. Food was excellent, all of our children thoroughly enjoyed their food which is extremely rare when trying new restaurants with 7 children. So we were truly pleased. As you can tell everyone decided to start eating before i could get all off my pictures, i didn’t manage to get out appetizers but they were delicious. We have cheesy bacon fries and fried pickles for our appetizers. Our meals consisted of a burger and fries, spaghetti with meatballs (doesn’t need ranch on it but he enjoys ranch with everything), a small cheese pizza for our 5 and 6 year olds, a large meat lovers for our 10 and 11 year old boys. Went on a Saturday and place was not busy. Waitress took our order and we didn’t see her until the end. One person in our group of five found a piece of plastic in their baked ziti. They took it off the bill but then were telling us that it was actually onion.
…Just take the loss and apologize. Giving it a 3 star since we’ve been in the past and it was decent and affordable. Maybe just an off night.

The lasagna was disappointing. The sauce in particular was unpleasant and didn’t sit well with me. I only ate it because I was hungry, but I don’t plan to order the lasagna there again. The sauce definitely needs improvement, and I’d be more than happy to offer a few suggestions if they’re open to feedback.

I went in Fri Nov 21 2025 and placed a to go order so I would know food would be hot .. got home and I waited about a hour to eat … the salad was wilted and had one small tomato in it . Later I ate some of my manicotte and it was ok … later that evening when I got to work I started getting sick and for 5 hrs I threw.up constantly and what came.up was what I had eaten earlier ~ I will NEVER eat at this place and and I WONT recommend anyone to go there ~~ it was ABSOLUTELY awful and NOT worth the money I paid. Also ordered cheese bread well the bread was hard as a rock and I guess they had shortage on cheese that day because all I got was toasted bread and paid for cheese bread
