Upbeat Nica-Cuban food due to its music and lived atmosphere with DJ on a Sunday! Nica music and good space/bar! Las Canastas de res estaban ricas (Cuban). We ordered carne asadas and very tasty! The nica-cuban appetizer was delicious mix to include maduros. Ordene la sopa de mariscos y muy delicious! Cacao flavor was good but missing naturaleza.

We were in the area and decided to pass by. We live about 1 hr away and recently moved from Miami. The food is definitely not the same. The prices are a bit expensive for the portion given. The meat was a bit hard and not enough rice. The cheese barely had flavor. Haven’t had some fritanga since we moved from FL and we were disappointed. This definitely ain’t it, food looks good in pictures but it was lacking that nica flavor.

It’s been years since we’ve been here. They used to give you a decent portion de churrasco but now it’s only 2 fingers wide & about as thick as 1 finger & maybe 2″ longer than my hand. The chimichurri sauce was disappointing, very acidic & the meat was tough. Nothing to how it used to be. They lock the doors at 7 even though they close at 8pm.

3 yrs later, I came again for my dad and the nacatamles are $11 now and theybare ok. We got fried plantains with the cream sauce and it was a little raw. Also got a sopa de res was delicious for my dad and we got the carne asada which was good and tender. They are still really expensive in my opinion though but will give an extra star.

Nicaragua mix with Cuban Food for being the only restaurant in atl with that type of food it’s pretty good and we had a mondongo food and bajo and again pretty close but it could of being better.

This is definitely a great spot, customer service was great. Price is ok but heck, it’s the only nicaraguan restaurant in the ATL. The food quality is very good. 8 out of 10. Definitely will be back for more!

Stopped in Sabores de mi Tierra to buy a couple of Nacatamales They gave me the option of hot or cold. I got them hot. Then went to liquor store next door to buy some Toña to round out the meal. I wasn’t there very long but the staff was friendly. Next time I’m in the ATL I will stop by again. I am an American born Nica and this is one of my favorite dishes. I’ve read some reviews but will try some of the other items on the menu next time. Very hard to find Nica restaurants out of Miami. The only other one I have found was in St. Louis Missouri. So we where pleasantly surprised.

The food is great! I had a carne asada and the meat was tender and juicy, the Gallo pinto on point along with the tajadas and queso frito. Highly recommend it!
