It’s starting not to be good. Food was dry and bland this time. I even asked for gravy and it still wasn’t wet….. my first few times it was seasoned, and flavorful.
The person waiting on me had an attitude and had on these long fingers nails that were touching my food as she tried closing the container…. I had to eat from the middle of the container to avoid what her hands touched.. No gloves on, just seems unhygienic ! I don’t know what’s underneath your nails and it’s digging into my food. Nope… all set ! Especially with viruses going around nahhh…. I used to stop here when I’m in town but not anymore…..
Too bad… hoping this was a one time thing….maybe they will take reviews into consideration in step it back up. Quality and service!

“Jamaican” beef patties were deep fried like empanadas, had zero meat, amd was the dryest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Medium sizes felt like a small, and the small felt like a kids meal. Got rice and beans and somehow even that was increadibly dry. If this was free it still wouldn’t be worth it. Do yourself a favor and save your money or order elsewhere.

I was in New Haven shopping on Sunday after that we always go to the food trucks but I wanted some Spanish food as I was driving around I saw this little place I thought at first it was a convenience store, but it wasn’t. It was a restaurant when I walked in my first impressions where wow is unique and Its Own Way, Food smell delicious. The girls were well mannered in serving your food and plates. I didn’t wanted to take out. I wanted to dine in and see the atmosphere and oh boy this place got packed in minutes it’s seems they are well known for their food and hospitality From the table to the floor and bathroom were very clean.The food was so delicious that it took me back memory lane when my Grandma used to cook for us. If you enjoy Spanish like I do just go and visit and order food and sit and eat you won’t regret it .oh I forgot to mention they do DoorDash as well or uber eats it’s one of the two so you can get it delivered to you as well.

Both ladies in the front were not friendly at all and looked annoyed to be there. Received food in the tiny plastics bowls which is smaller than a small and charged same price.
Beef stew and chicken strips were dry and hard. Do not recommend this place.

Been eating here for over ten years.Huge portions. Very tasty. Friendly and polite. Reasonable pricing. We chose to eat in and she delivered our food and drink to our table and set us up. The sides are awesome too. I love the rice and beans, beef stew and plantains . Go and try it you won’t be let down.

First time eating the food from here and it will be the last. Food was so over cooked it was like eating saw dust. The only thing from my $50 order, that was ok, was the mofongo. Wish I could say different, but not worth the price we paid.
