Nice place. Clean restaurant. Local favorite establishment. Chips are good and salsa tastes fresh. It does get busy and there is very limited space inside to eat. Food variety is decent and the flavors are authentic. Nice service and attentive. Parking is plentiful but tight ..I would recommend giving them a try.

Such a great experience here and that’s because we went through the drive thru. Everything we ordered was magnifico. We intend to return without our dog next time so we can enjoy our time there and so I can enjoy their other margarita options. I liked the fish sauce it had a flavorful chipotle with a kick at the end but not too spicy, just how I like my sauce. My bf usually has a problem with crispy tacos at certain restaurants being soggy from the meat that he doesn’t get to enjoy when we get home, but this particular restaurant’s tacos stayed crispy and that’s becuase we came back home to Corpus to eat our meals. The server at the drive thru was very sweet and patient so yeaaaaaaaa we will be back . We for sure reccomend.

Not a great experience. Food is generally good-great, service is usually great. Was informed they didn’t do breakfast tacos after breakfast. Cool, but they’ve made the bean, cheese and bacon tacos every other time we’ve been there. To be clear though, I have never been to Sabor Maya during the day, and never at breakfast. If they didn’t have bacon they could have said that, but instead I got, “No breakfast tacos”. I explained this has never been an issue and was told “Ok”, but as in “cool story bro”. I might try again one day, but not for a while and not without calling first, as I waited to find out I needed to go somewhere else tonight.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in Texas! Everything on the menu is delicious, but anything with the asada or barbacoa is next-level. The flavors are rich, authentic, and cooked perfectly. Do yourself a favor and add the poblano sauce, it takes the meal over the top. Great service, great atmosphere, and a place I’ll be coming back to often.

First time coming it was good but the service could be better we weren’t checked on for chip or drink refills. Food was good and hot good portions. Food was about a 7.5/10 I had the guisada that was a little chewy and my wife had beef enchiladas that lacked some flavor. But would come again to give another shot. This is the first Mexican restaurant I’ve come to in Portland we usually go to Acapulco on airline which is always great.

It’s was fantastic from walking in the door. I was quickly greeted and seated and my drink order taken. The server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was so good I could go on and on about how well the food is presented and how yummy it taste. Everything from the breakfast to the lunches, the dinner items as well as the drinks are all fabulous and well prepared.

I had the Maya shrimp salad. The shrimp was done but not cooked well. For summer , the tomatoes did not taste that fresh , and the cucumbers had uneven peels on it , either peel it all the way or not at all. It also tasted like it had not been cut fresh that day. It also had corn in it that tasted like it was just out of the can , it could have been grilled in a pan for a quick minute. It also had too much cheese , if it had been shredded ,that might have made a difference, but all these little chunks of cheese did not enhance the salad , it detracted. Overall, for a $13.00 salad, it was not that great

Awesome food, service, and accommodations! It is a cute little place and very busy but we got what we needed with a table of 13 and a few rounds of margaritas. The food was really great and we were not sure what to expect. Very impressive place for this small town and we plan on coming back next time we are here!

Really good place for a family lunch, we had shrimp tacos, fish tacos and I had the veggies quesadilla, it was nice to see a place that offers a quesadilla filled with delicious veggies and cheese only! Fish and shrimp were fresh and tasty. The flan was very good! We will be back

My wife and I LOVE going here, doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast lunch or dinner there food is always the best!! This is our every Saturday morning breakfast date. Sometimes we do the drive thru and go sit by the water and even the drive thru is super quick even on those busy school traffic mornings
