This hole in the wall has the BEST authentic food. Pork tacos, stuffed with juicy, tasty meat. Chicken tacos pretty damn good as well. Empanada…who doesn’t love a freshly made empanada. You have to try this place!! The Cuban is excellent!

I went to sugar bakery today. Saw this deli which had Ecuadorian options hence went in. I always wanted to try humitas- this is the first time I tried. It was fresh & warm. They had variety of empanadas. I ordered jalapeño & cheese. It was made to order empanada not reheated one. It was nice. Try this place for some Ecuadorian snacks.

Ordered steak and cheese subs around 1:30. Not only were the sandwiches missing lettuce and tomato but there were pieces of egg inside. Shows that they don’t clean their stove/griddle they cook on. Luckily I noticed because I have an egg allergy

I ordered an Encebollado (Ecuadorian dish) and Bolon de chicharrón, horrible I would never go back again. The staff is friendly but these dishes they don’t know how to prepare. The encebollado was mixto it was all soup few (5) squares of hard fish, 3 shrimps and the yuca was hard. The bolon very small and had like 2 chicharrones. These dishes are nothing like in my country Ecuador where the food is delicious. Let’s not talk about the price for what I got this is a rip off.

I ordered online and got a promotion for a buy one get one free sandwich. I called the restaurant and spoke to a woman that can’t understand any English at all to change my free sandwich to a more simple one and cheaper one. One Cuban and the free sandwich just a ham and cheese, lettuce Tomato. They just added lettuce and tomato to the other cuban sandwich. I asked for a ham and cheese! They got that free sandwich wrong plus they charged me more for that. How is that right?? Horrible. Don’t even call the restaurant if you speak English because they can’t even understand anything. Your food will be wrong!

Really Disappointed been getting lunch here since it first opened.. I’ve eaten there before so why when I order on uber eats is the portion so small I feel ripped off. 12$ for 3 pieces of meat and rice. When I go in person you guys serve normal portions. It’s going to be a bit before I go again. I could of gotten the same portion for 4 dollars at the corner store by me..

This place now is my favorite Spanish food spot in East Haven. I know me some tacos and they got the whole situation correct. 4 was too many. THE SAUCES my goodness…. I felt refreshed and clean after eating 4 chicken tacos and my chocolate milkshake (highly recommended) I also get the spinach empanadas which are phenomenal.
You will be greeted by lovely ladies that make you feel welcomed. Your food is ready quickly (I will only come here for my lunch bc they don’t make you wait after you call in, plus the sweetness and respect from the employees go a long way for me)
